Թուրքիան իր վարած քաղաքականությամբ միջազգային հանրությանը մանիպուլյացիայի ենթարկելու փորձեր է անում:

ԵՄ-Հայաստան խորհրդարանական համագործակցության հանձնաժողովի 15-րդ նիստում նման տեսակետ հայտնեց ԱԺ ՀՀԿ խմբակցության պատգամավոր, ԵՄ-Հայաստան խորհրդարանական համագործակցության համանախագահ Սամվել Ֆարմանյանը: «Եվ ընդգծելու համար ես պետք է հիշեցնեմ, որ 2008թ., երբ Հայաստանի նախագահը նախաձեռնեց Թուրքիայի հետ հարաբերությունների կարգավորման գործընթացը, որը միջազգային մամուլում և քաղաքական շրջանակներում ստացավ «ֆուտբոլային դիվանագիտություն» անվանումը, այդ ժամանակ միջազգային հանրությունը միաձայն աջակցում էր այդ գործընթացին: Բոլորս հիշում ենք, որ հոկտեմբերի 10-ին Ցյուրիխում, երբ ստորագրվում էին հայ-թուրքական արձանագրությունները, ներկա էին բարձրաստիճան ներկայացուցիչներ ԵՄ-ից, ՌԴ-ից, ԱՄՆ-ից և այլ երկրներից: Այդ արձանագրությունները, ցավոք, այդպես էլ մնացին թղթի վրա՝ Թուրքիայի ապակառուցողական քաղաքականության պատճառով»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ նշեց Ֆարմանյանը:

Ֆարմանյանն ասաց, որ ցանկացած ոք, եթե ընթերցի հայ-թուրքական արձանագրությունների տեքստերը, կտեսնի, որ այնտեղ սևով սպիտակի վրա գրված է, որ Հայաստանը և Թուրքիան՝ որպես միջազգային իրավունքի երկու սուբյեկտ, այդ արձանագրություններով պարտավորություն են ստանձնում հաստատել դիվանագիտական հարաբերություններ: «Եվ այնտեղ որևէ խոսք չի եղել որևէ նախապայմանի վերաբերյալ: Ցավոք, եղավ այն, ինչ եղավ: Հայաստանում քաղաքական ընդդիմությունը՝ ի դեմս ՀՅԴ և «Ժառանգություն» կուսակցությունների, սկսեց խիստ քննադատության ենթարկել իշխանությունների նման նախաձեռնության համար: Իսկ արձանագրությունների ստորագրումից հետո թուրքական կողմն առաջ քաշեց նախապայմաններ' Թուրքիայի խորհրդարանում հայ-թուրքական արձանագրությունները վավերացնելու համար: Մի բան, որ հակասում էր ձեռք բերված բոլոր պայմանավորվածություններին»,- ընդգծեց Ֆարմանյանը:

Ֆարմանյանը հիշեցրեց, որ այդ ժամանակ ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Հիլարի Քլինթոնը, ԵՄ բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաները միանշանակ ասել են, որ հայ-թուրքական հարաբերությունների կարգավորումը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտությամբ պայմանավորելը նշանակում է՝ ոչ թե օգնել մեկին կամ մյուսին, այլ խանգարել բոլոր կողմերին: «Թուրքիան, սակայն, չհարգեց իր ստորագրությունը, առաջ քաշեց նախապայմաններ, ինչի արդյունքում այդ արձանագրություններն այդպես էլ չվավերացվեցին, և միակողմանիորեն ապօրինի փակված սահմանը շարունակում է փակ մնալ, իսկ հայ-թուրքական հարաբերություններու մ նորմալացման հեռանկարներ չկան»,- եզրափակեց Ֆարմանյանը:
