Russia FM: All elements for settling Karabakh crisis already exist

All components for resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh crisis already exist, Russian Federation (RF) Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said at a press conference in Azerbaijan’s capital city of Baku, according to RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.

“This matter is at the personal focus of the RF President,” Lavrov said. “We regularly meet (…) with both the Azerbaijani and the Armenian colleagues, at ministerial level.

“Indeed, I agree that virtually all [respective] components and arrangements are already on the [negotiating] table. We need to find some wording (…), since, in fact, we are very close.

“Without a doubt, perhaps we are more interested than the colleagues of the other two countries that this conflict be settled as quickly as possible.”
