Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցին նվիրված միջոցառումների շրջանակներում, ապրիլի 2-ին Վարշավայի «Անկախության թանգարանում» տեղի է ունեցել «Վանա ծովուն արշալույսը» ֆիլմի ցուցադրությունը, որը կազմակերպել էր Լեհաստանի «Արմենիան ֆաունդեյշն» հիմնադրամը: Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտգործնախա րարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից, միջոցառումն անցկացվում էր Լեհաստանում ՀՀ դեսպանության, ինչպես նաև Մազովիցկայայի վոյևոդության մարշալեկ Ադամ Ստրուզիկայի հովանու ներքո:

Ֆիլմի ցուցադրությանը ներկա են եղել Լեհաստանում ՀՀ դեսպան Էդգար Ղազարյանը, ֆիլմի ռեժիսոր Վահան Ստեփանյանը, Լեհաստանի Սեյմի փոխնախագահ Էուգենիուշ Գժեշտակը, Լեհաստանի Նախագահի խորհրդական Յան Լիտինսկին, լեհահայոց հոգևոր հովիվ տեր Տաճատ Ծատուրյանը, Լեհաստանի ռադիոհեռուստատեսության մարզային կառույցների հարցերով Ազգային խորհրդի անդամ, պրոֆեսոր Ստեֆան Պաստուշկան, «Գազետա վիբորչա» թերթի գլխավոր խմբագիր Ադամ Միխնիկը, լեհ-հայկական առևտրական պալատի անդամ, «Արմենիան ֆաունդեյշն» հիմնադրամի խորհրդի նախագահի տեղակալ Մաչեյ Բոհոսև իչը, ՀՀ-ում Լեհաստանի նախկին դեսպաններ Վիկտոր Ռոսսը և Տոմաշ Կնոտեն, Վարշավայի Պրագա և Ռեմբերտով վարչական տարածքների ղեկավարները, դեսպաններ, լեհաստանի հայ համայնքի ներկայացուցիչներ, հասարակական-քաղաքական գործիչներ, լրագրողներ:

Ցուցադրությունից առաջ ողջույնի խոսքով հանդես է եկել դեսպան Ղազարյանը և ֆիլմի ռեժիսոր Վահան Ստեփանյանը։ Վերջինս տեղեկացրել է, որ ֆիլմը շրջելու է եվրոպական բազմաթիվ երկրներով՝ ներկայանալով հայ և եվրոպացի հանդիսատեսի դատին։ Ռեժիսորն ավելացրել է նաև, որ ֆիլմի նպատակներից մեկն է ցույց տալ գենետիկ հիշողութ յան կարևորությունը, այն, որ որտեղ էլ հայը գտնվի, միևնույն է, հայ է մնում և չի կարող լիովին անջատվել իր արմատներից։

Նախքան ցուցադրության մեկնարկը, հայ-լեհական համագործակցության ընկերակցության փոխնախագահ Ռաֆայել Ամիրյանը հանդես է եկել Հայոց ցեղասպանությանը, դրա ճանաչման ու դատապարտմանը վերաբերող զեկույցով, իսկ ցուցադրության ավարտին հանդես է եկել նաև պատմաբան, լեհ քաղաքագետ, պրոֆեսոր Ստեֆան Պաստուշկան, ով մասնավորապես նշել է. «Սա հիանալի ֆիլմ է` անչափ հուզիչ։ Թե՛ հայ և թե՛ լեհ ժողովուրդները շատ լավ գիտեն և զգացել են իրենÖ մաշկի վրա, թե ինչ է ցեղասպանությունը։ Մեր երկու ժողովուրդներն ունեն ընդհանուր անցյալ, ինչն, անկասկած, միավորում է մեզ»։
