«Երեկ ՀՀ կենտրոնական բանկը հրապարակել է Հայաստանի արտաքին պահուստների վերաբերյալ տեղեկանք, ըստ որի՝ այս տարվա ապրիլի մեկի դրությամբ մեր երկրի համախառն արտաքին պահուստները կազմել են 1 միլիարդ 491 միլիոն դոլար:

Առաջին հայացքից սա «բարեբաստիկ» լուր է: Խնդիրն այն է, որ անցած մեկ տարվա ընթացքում մեր պահուստները անընդհատ ու շեշտակի նվազել են՝ 2 միլիարդ դոլարից հասնելով 1 միլիարդ 260 մլն դոլարի, իսկ վերջին մեկ ամսվա ընթացքում միանգամից աճել են 230 միլիոն դոլարով: Սակայն պարզվում է, որ մի քանի շաբաթ առաջ եվրոբոնդերի միջոցով ներգրավված 500 միլիոն դոլար վարկից 300 միլիոն դոլարը ուղղվել է արտաքին պահուստների համալրմանը: Ու ստացվում է, որ 300 միլիոն դոլարով համալրվելով՝ արտաքին պահուստները աճել են ընդամենը 230 միլիոն դոլարով: Պարզ թվաբանությունը ցույց է տալիս, որ միայն մեկ ամսվա ընթացքում մեր արտաքին պահուստներից ծախսվել է ևս 70 միլիոն դոլար: Եթե այս տեմպերով շարունակվեն ծախսվել մեր արտաքին պահուստները, ապա դրանց լիակատար սպառման համար կպահանջվեն հաշված ամիսներ»,–գրում է թերթը։
