Հայաստանը միջազգային քաղաքականության մեջ նոր դերով է հանդես գալիս. Ցեղասպանության ենթարկված ժողովուրդը խաղաղություն եւ մարդասիրություն է քարոզում եւ դրանով իսկ դառնում բացառիկ: Տեսակետը քաղաքագետ Հրանտ Մելիք-Շահնազարյանինն է: «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ` քաղաքագետը նշում է, որ մենք հրաժարվում ենք զոհի կարգավիճակից եւ ձեւավորում համաշխարհային մի նոր շարժում, որն ուղղված է ապագայում նման տեսակի հանցագործություններից զերծ մնալուն եւ նման հանցագործությունները կանխելուն:

«Հայաստանը դառնում է մարդասիրական եւ ընդհանուր խաղաղասիրական տեսակետից նոր ձեւավորվող եւ մեծ շարժման առաջնորդ իր այս գործողություններով: Իսկ այդ շարժումը մեծ արդիականություն ունի, եթե հաշվի առնենք այն իրադարձությունները, որոնք տեղի են ունենում Մերձավոր Արեւելքում»,- ասաց նա: Հայաստանի նոր դերակատարությունն ու նաեւ միջազգային հանրությունից Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցին նվիրված ոգեկոչման արարողությունների նկատմամբ ուշադրությունը խանգարում է հարեւան երկու պետություններին` Ադրբեջանին եւ Թուրքիային:«2014 թվականի օգոստոսից ադրբեջանական դիվերսիոն փորձերի ակտիվացումը ուղղված էր ցեղասպանության խնդիրը՝ որպես քաղաքական գործոն, երկրորդ պլան մղելուն, փոխարենը՝ նոր օրակարգ ձեւավորելու այն հաշվարկով, թե ով պետք է ուշադրություն դարձնի հարյուր տարի առաջ տեղի ունեցած դեպքերին, եթե ներկայում կա սպառնալիք: Մենք տեսանք, որ Հռոմի պապի հայտարարությունից հետո, այնուհետեւ նաեւ Եվրախորհրդարանի բանաձևով ըստ էության այս խնդիրը տապալվեց, եւ նրանք օրակարգ չկարողացան փոխել:

Ավելին՝ ցեղասպանության հարցը դարձավ ոչ միայն տարածաշրջանային կարեւոր քաղաքական հարց, այլ նաեւ միջազգային ասպարեզ դուրս եկավ եւ գլոբալ նշանակություն ունեցող քաղաքական խնդիր դարձավ»,- ասաց Շահնազարյանը` հավելելով, որ այս կերպ մեկուսանում է թե Թուրքիան, թե Ադրբեջանը, քանի որ այդ կերպ Ադրբեջանը հակահայ գործողություններում կարող է կորցնել իր գլխավոր դաշնակցին:

 «Թուրքիայի մեկուսացման գործընթաց է տեղի ունենում, չնայած այն հանգամանքին, որ փորձ կատարվեց ցեղասպանության օրը այլ միջոցառումով շեշտադրել: Թե՛ Հռոմի պապի, թե՛ Եվրախորհրդարանի կողմից ցեղասպանության ճանաչումը եւ դատապարտումը լրացուցիչ պատնեշ է ստեղծել ապրիլի 24-ին Գալիպոլիի այդ ճակատամարտի միջոցառումներին այլ պետությունների ղեկավարներին մասնակցելու համար: Այսինքն՝ կա ընդհանուր պահանջատիրություն, այդ պահանջատիրությունն այլեւս չի սահմանափակվում զուտ հայ ժողովրդի ընկերների եւ դաշնակիցների պահանջատիրությամբ, այլ համընդհանուր բն ույթ է ստացել: Այդ համընդհանուր պահանջատիրությունը Թուրքիային մեկուսացնելու եւ այդ կեղծարարությունից հրաժարվելու միտում է ձեւավորել»,-նկատեց քաղաքագետը:
