Հայ դատի Միացյալ Նահանգների հանձնախմբի գործադիր տնօրեն Արամ Համբարյանը հայտարարություն է արել` արձագանքելով 1915 թվականի դեպքերի վերաբերյալ Թուրքիայի վարչապետ Ահմեդ Դավութօղլուի հրապարակային  դատողություններին: «Արմենպրես»-ն այս մասին տեղեկացավ Հայ դատի կենտրոնական խորհրդի կայքից:

«Հանդիպելով Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչման համաշխարհային ալիքին, այդ թվում` Հռոմի պապի և Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի կողմից, Թուրքիայի առաջնորդները հանդգնորեն կրկնապատկում են իրենց ժխտողական քաղաքականությունը: Վարչապետ Դավութօղլուի այսօրվա կեղծ ներողությունը չի տալիս ոչ ճանաչում, ոչ պատասխանատվության ընդունում, ոչ զղջում և ոչ հատուցում», -ասել է Համբարյանը` հավելելով, որ ապրիլի 24-ին ԱՄՆ նախագահ Օբաման պատմական հնարավորություն ունի հրաժարվելու Թուրքիայի «բերան-փակող» քաղաքականությունից, վերջ տալ Անկարայի ժխտողական քաղաքականության մեջ ԱՄ Ն մեղսակցության ամոթալի գլխին, ինչպես նաև Հայաստանին և Թուրքիայի ուղղորդել դեպի ավելի լավ ապագա` հիմնված այս հարցի ճշմարիտ և արդար լուծման վրա:

Վատիկանի Սուրբ Պետրոս տաճարում Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցին նվիրված պատարագին Հռոմի Ֆրանցիոսկոս պապը1915 թվականի հայերի կոտորածն անվանել է «20-րդ դարի առաջին ցեղասպանություն»:

Իսկ ապրիլի 15-ին Եվրոպայի խորհրդարաննընդնունեց Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին բանաձև, որն առաջարկո ւմ և հանձնարարում է ԵՄ անդամ երկրների ազգայինխորհրդարաններին ու կառավարություններին համապատասխան բանաձևեր ընդունել և որոշումներ կայացնել երևույթի ճանաչման ուդատապարտման վերաբերյալ: 

Սա Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի ընդունած երրորդ փաստաթուղթն է, որը ճանաչում է 1915 թվականինՕսմանյան կայսրության կառավարության կանխամտածած և իրականացրած՝ 1.5 մլն հայերի ցեղասպանությունը: Այս ամենի ֆոնին ապրիլի 21-ին Թուրքիայի վարչապետ Ահմեդ Դավութօղլուն հայտրարությամբ է հանդես եկել, որով կրկնել է Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի2014 թ. ապրիլյան քայլը և իբր «ցավակցություն հայտնել» Առաջին աշխարհամարտի ընթացքում զոհված օսմանահպատակ հայերի ժառանգներին: Դավութօղլուն նաև ակնարկել է, որ Անկարան պատրաստ չէ գնալ Ցեղասպանության ճանաչման ճանապարհով:
