Եվրահանձնաժողովն առաջարկել է Եվրամիության անդամ պետություններին՝ տեղեր պատրաստել Սիրիայից մինչև 130 հազար գաղթականների ընդունման համար: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս դիմումով հանդես է եկել ԵՀ-ի ներկայացուցիչ Նատաշա Բերտոն:

«Միգրացիայի հիմնախնդրի լուծման մեր ծրագրի շրջանակներում մենք մտադիր ենք ԵՄ-ի պետություններին առաջարկել լրացուցիչ 130 հազար տեղ ստեղծել Սիրիայից գաղթականների ընդունելու համար»,-նշել է նա:

Ապրիլի 23-ին Բրյուսելում տեղի է ունենալու ԵՄ-ի անդամ 28 երկրների պետությունների ու կառավարությունների ղեկավարների արտահերթ գագաթնաժողովը՝ նվիրված Հյուսիային Աֆրիկայից գաղթի խնդիրներին:

Մինչ այդ Եվրամիության արտաքին և ներքին գործերի նախարարները Լյուքսեմբուրգում՝ գերագույն ներկայացուցիչ Ֆեդերիկա Մոգերինիի նախագահությամբ կայացած համատեղ խորհրդակցությունում հավանություն են տվել միգրանտների հետ կապված ճգնաժամային իրադրության հաղթահարման համար 10 կետից բաղկացած պլանին: Այն ներկայացվել է ներքին գործերի գծով Եվրահանձնաժողովի անդամ Դիմիտրոս Ավրամոպուլոսի կողմից և ստացել է հավաքվածների լիակատար պաշտպանությունը:

Հավանության արժանացած միջոցառումների ցուցակը ներառում է անօրինական միգրացիայի դեմ պայքարի ֆինանսավորման ավելացում, մաքսանենգների նավերի բռնագրավում և ոչնչացում, միգրանտների մատնադրոշմների գրանցում, պլանավորվում է Եվրոպայի ապաստանի տրամադրման հարցերի բյուրոյին (EASO) հանձնարարել՝ աշխատանք կազմակերպել Իտալիայում և Հունաստանում ապաստանի տրամադրման միջնորդությունների համատեղ մշակման համար:

ԵՄ-ի անդամ պետությունների արտաքին սահմաններին օպերատիվ համագործակցության կառավարման գործակալությունը (FRONTEX) կսահմանի անօրինական միգրանտների արագ վերադարձման նոր համակարգ: Բացի դրանից, պանավորվում է ստեղծել պաշտպանության կարիք ունեցող մարդկանց վերաբնակեցման ծրագիր, որի շրջանակներում նրանց կառաջարկվեն բնակության համար որոշակի վայրեր: Լիբիայից գաղթականների հոսքը նվազեցնելու համար ԵՄ-ն նաև մտադիր է այս հարցի շուրջը փոխգործակցությունն ուժեղացնել հարևան երկրների հետ, հաղորդել է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
