Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնում կատարվեց Հայոց ցեղասպանություն զոհերի սրբադասմանը նախորդող արարողությունը` Հսկման կարգը: Արարողությանը մասնակցում էին Ն. Ս. Օ. Տ. Տ. Գարեգին Բ Ամենայն Հայոց կաթողիկոսը, Հայ Առաքելական եկեղեցու և քույր եկեղեցիների հոգևորականներ, ինչպես նաև միջեկեղեցական կառույցների ներկայացուցիչներ, հավատավոր քաղաքացիներ: Հսկման կարգի ընթացքին Գարեգին Բ Ամենայն Հայոց կ աթողիկոսը Հայրապետական առոթք բարձրացրեց առ Աստված եւ օրհնությունը բերեց`ընդգծելով. «Մենք հավատում ենք, որ Հայոց ցեղասպանության նահատակներն այսօր ևս շարունակում են ապրել, նրանց սխրանքը եւ ոգեշնչող ներկայությունը մշտապես ուղեկից են եղել մեր ժողովրդին Ցեղասպանությանը հաջորդած բոլոր տարիներին: Թող Աստված օրհնի արդարության եւ ազգերի միջեւ եղբայրության ճանապարհները, որպեսզի ոչ մի ժողովուրդ այլևս չապրի ցեղասպանության ողբերգությունը: Աղոթք եւ օրհնություն ցեղասպանության անմեղ բոլոր զոհերի հիշատակին: Տիրոջ սերը եւ խաղաղությունը թող լինեն ամենքիս հետ այսօր եւ միշտ եւ հավիտյանս հավիտենից. ամեն»:

Ինչպես լրագրողների հետ զրույցում տեղեկացրեց Սրբադասման արարողության եւ հիշատակի ոգեկոչման միջոցառումների կազմակերպիչ հանձնախմբի անդամ Տ. Բագրատ եպիսկոպոս Գալստանյանը, Հսկման արարողությունն իրականացվում է մեծ տոների նախօրեին ու իրենից ներկայացնում է գիշերային ժամերգության մի հատվածը: «Հսկումն աղոթք է գիշերվա մեջ, որով նախապատրաստություն է արվում հաջորղող տոնի խորհրդին: Հսկումն այլ կերպ ասած նշանակում է արթուն մնալ, պահակություն անել, հսկողություն անել: Քանի որ վաղը մեծ խուրհուրդ է տեղի ունենալու մեր եկեղեցում, Սրբադասն կարգի վերահաստատումն է և նաև մեր նահատակների հռչակումը որպես սրբեր, մենք այս գիշեր նախապաստվում ենք դիմավորել այս մեծ հրավերը, որը մեզ բոլորիս է ուղղված»,-ասաց Բագրատ Սրբազանը:

Հսկման կարգի ընթացքոււմ աղոթքին զուգահեռ մասունքարանների մեջ են զետեղվում Հայոց ցեղասպանության նահատակների մասունքները, որոնք արդեն վաղը` ապրիլի 23-ին ներկայացվելու են սրբադասման կարգին` հարգանքի ու խոնարհումի համար: «Մասունքները 1965 թվականին Դեր Զորից Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածին է բերվել Վազգեն Վեհափառի կողմից և պահվել մայր տաճարի մոտ` ուխտի խաչքարի տակ: Մյուս մասն էլ Մեծի տանն Կիլիկիո կաթողիկոսարանի Սրբոց Նահատակաց մատուռում պահված մասունքներն են»,-տեղեկացրեց հոգևորականը:

400 տարվա դադարից հետո Հայ Առաքելական եկեղեցին կկատարի Սրբադասման արարողություն, որով միասնական կարգով սրբերի շարքին կդասվեն Հայոց ցեղասպանության ընթացքում հավատքի ու հայրենիքի համար նահատակվածները:
