Ռուսաստանի Դաշնությունը կանգնած է Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչման ակունքներում և այսօր էլ Մեծ Եղեռնն ընդունելով որպես սեփական ցավ, Ռուսաստանի 643 քաղաքում կիրականացվի հիշատակի միջոցառումներ:

«Ընդդեմ ցեղասպանության հանցագործության» միջազգային ֆորումի ժամանակ ՌԴ դաշնային ժողովի փոխնախագահ Գալինա Կորելովան ասաց, որ միջազգային տերությունները չպետք է ժխտեն Հայոց ցեղասպանությունն ու առաջնորդվեն վայրկենական, կոնյունկտորային շահով: Այս հարցի առնչությամբ պետք է առաջնորդվել սկզբունքով:

«Օսմանյան կայսրության վայրագությունները, հայերի զանգվածային սպանություններն այն ժամանակ ցնցել էին ռուսական հասարակությանը: Օսմանյան կայսրության կատարածը հանցագործություն է մարդկության և քաղաքակրթության դեմ: Մի շարք պետություններ այսօր էլ կասկածի տակ են դնում պատմական ճշմարտությունը և ելնում կոնյունկտորային վայրեկենական շահերից: Այս թեման չպետք է դառնա հակամարտության պատճառ: Գերակայությունը պետք է լինի ջանքերի միավորումը, որն ուղղված լինի տարածաշրջանում կայունության հաստատմանը: Այս առնչությամբ մենք չենք փոխել մեր դիրքորոշումն ու առաջնորդվում ենք պատմական հիշողության պահպանմամբ»,- ասաց Կորելովան' ներկաներին հիշեցնելով, որ ՌԴ պետուման երկու անգամ հայտարարություն է ընդունել և դատապարտել Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը, իսկ փաստը, որ ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը մասնակցելու է Հայոց ցեղասպանության տարելիցի միջոցառումներին, վկայում է, որ ՌԴ-ն Հայաստանի կողքին է:
