Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի հրավերով ապրիլի 24-ին Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակի միջոցառումներին մասնակցելու նպատակով Հայաստանի Հանրապետություն ժամանած Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության, Ֆրանսիայի, Սերբիայի և Կիպրոսի նախագահներն այցելել են Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարան: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում են Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարան-ինստիտուտից, չորս երկրների առաջնորդները շրջայց են կատարել Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարանում, ծանոթացել նոր մշտական ցուցադրությանը:

Չորս նախագահները շրջայցի ավարտին գրառում են կատարել Պատվավոր հյուրերի մատյանում: Նախագահները մեծ տպավորություն են ստացել նորաբաց թանգարանային ցուցադրությունից:

Նոր թանգարանի ցուցադրական տարածքն ընդարձակվել է երկուսուկես անգամ՝ կազմելով 2400 քառակուսի մետր. Հայաստանում առաջին անգամ կիրառվել են համաշխարհային թանգարանային պրակտիկայում լայն տարածում գտած նոր տեխնոլոգիաներ, նախագծային մոտեցումներ ու լուծումներ: Թանգարանային ցուցադրության բովանդակային լուծումները, տեքստային նյութերն ու բացատրագրերը հիմնված են ցեղասպանագիտության ոլորտում վերջին տարիների գիտական ու մեթոդական մշակումների վրա: Դրանք երեք լեզուներով՝ հայերեն, անգլերեն, ռուսերեն. կազմվել են Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարան-ինստիտուտի գիտական անձնակազմի մանրակրկիտ ու համալիր աշխատանքի շնորհիվ: Աշխատանքներին խորհրդատվական աջակցություն է ցուցաբերել Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցի միջոցառումները համակարգող պետական հանձնաժողովի կողմից ձևավորված թանգարանային փորձագիտական խումբը:

Թանգարանային մշտական ցուցադրության մեջ ամփոփվել են վերջին 7-8 տարիների հավաքչական աշխատանքի արդյունքում ձեռք բերված հազարավոր նորահայտ նյութերը: Դրանց մի մասը ներկայացված է տպագիր, ինչպես նաև մուլտիմեդիայի՝ պրոյեկտորների և հպումով աշխատող էկրանների տեսքով: Ներկայացված են նաև բնօրինակ և եզակի լուսանկարներ, գրքեր, փաստաթղթեր և այլն: Թանգարանային նոր ցուցադրական տարածքն ունի տասներկու սրահներ՝ նախկին երեք սրահների փոխարեն:

Ցուցադրությունը բաղկացած է հիսուներկու հիմնական խորագրերից:
