Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցի միջոցառումների շրջանակում ՀՀ սփյուռքի նախարարության աջակցությամբ մայիսի 4-ին, Կամերային երաժշտության տանը կայացավ ճապոնացի դաշնակահար Տակահիրո Ակիբայի մենահամերգը, որը կրում էր «Կոմիտասի երկրում» խորագիրը: Համերգի ընթացքում կատարումներով հանդես եկավ նաև Արաքս Մանսուրյանը:

Ինչպեսն տեղեկացրին ՀՀ սփյուռքի նախարարության մամուլի եւ հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, համերգին ներկա էին ՀՀ առաջին տիկին Ռիտա Սարգսյանը, ՀՀ ազգային ժողովի նախագահի տիկին Ժաննա Սահակյանը, ՀՀ-ում Ճապոնիայի դեսպանի պաշտոնակատար Կենիչիրո Սասամեն, ՀՀ սփյուռքի նախարարի տեղակալ Սերժ Սրապիոնյանը, արվեստագետներ, մտավորականներ, հյուրեր:

Օրվա հատուկ հյուրն էր հայ օպերային երգչուհի, սոպրանո Արաքս Մանսուրյանը:

Նախարարի անունից ողջույնի խոսքով հանդես եկավ ՀՀ սփյուռքի նախարարի տեղակալ Սերժ Սրապիոնյանը՝ նշելով. «Այս միջոցառումը հերթական անգամ հաստատում է այն ճշմարտությունը, որ հայ մշակույթը համամարդկային է իր բնույթով, ունակ է իր հետևից տանելու հազարավոր մարդկանց և դարձնելու նրանց հայկական երաժշտության հետևորդներ: Դրա լավագույն օրինակն այսօրվա մեր հյուրի՝ Տակահիրո Ակիբայի ներկայությունն է: Ապրելով հեռավոր Ճապոնիայում ՝ նա, փաստորեն, այնքան է տարվել հատկապես կոմիտասյան մեղեդիներով, որ դարձել է դրանց կատար ողը` Գերմանիայում Կոմիտասին նվիրված փառատոնին առաջին պատվավոր տեղը նվաճելով, իսկ այսօր ձեռնամուխ է եղել Ճապոնիայում կոմիտասյան արվեստի քարոզչությամբ զբաղվող կազմակերպության ստեղծմանը: Սա արվեստագետի նվիրում է, հայ ժողովրդի հանդեպ ակնածանքի վերաբերմունքի արտահայտում»:

Սերժ Սրապիոնյանը, կարևորելով Արաքս Մանսուրյանի անգնահատելի գործունեությունը, հավելեց. «Ազգը հարուստ է, որ ունի ձեզ նման անհատականություններ, որովհետև Ձեր արվեստով, Ձեր ազգաշահ գործունեությամբ դաս և օրինակ եք շատ-շատերի, հատկապես՝ երիտասարդ սերնդի համար, և ոչ միայն հայ: Դրա վկայությունը նաև այս օրն է»:

Համերգի ընթացքում հնչեցին մեծանուն կոմպոզիտորներ Կոմիտասի, Առնո Բաբաջանյանի, Ալեքսանդր Հարությունյանի, Էդվարդ Միրզոյանի ստեղծագործությունները: Համերգը հաճախ էր ընդհատվում հանդիսատեսի բուռն ծափահարություններով:
