Պաշտոնական Դամասկոսը միջազգային իրավունքի նորմերի և պետության ինքնիշխանության սկզբունքի կոպտագույն խախտում է որակել նախօրեին Թուրքիայի վարչապետ Ահմեթ Դավութօղլուի կողմից սիրիա-թուրքական սահմանի՝ ապօրինի կերպով հատումը և Օսմանյան կայսրության հիմնադրի պապի՝ Սուլեյման շահի դամբարան կատարած գաղտնի այցելությունը: Մասնավորապես, Սիրիայի փոխարտգործնախարար Ֆեյսալ ալ-Միկդադը լիբանանյան «Ալ-Մայադին» հեռուստաընկերությանը տված հարցազրույցում հայտարարել է, որ թուրքական կառավարությունը Սուլեյման շահի դամբարանի խնդիրը մշտապես օգտագործել է որպես առիթ՝ Սիրիայի ներքին գործերին միջամտելու նպատակով: Սիրիացի դիվանագետը հերթական անգամ ընդգծել է, որ թուրքական իշխանություններն աջակցում են միջազգային ահաբեկչությանը և սերտ կապեր ունեն այնպիսի ահաբեկչական կազմակերպությունների հետ, ինչպիսիք են՝ օրինակ՝ «Իսլամական պետություն» և «Ալ-Նուսրայի ճակատ» խմբավորումները:
Վերոնշյալ միջադեպը հերթական անգամ փաստում է, որ, առանց չափազանցության, բավականաչափ լարված են Թուրքիայի և հատկապես «արաբական» գարնան հորձանուտով անցած արաբական մի շարք պետությունների միջև հարաբերությունները: Շուտով կլրանա 2 տարին, ինչ էականորեն սրվել են եգիպտաթուրքական հարաբերությունները, մայիսի 10-ին լիբիական զինված ուժերը հրթիռակոծել են այդ երկրի տարածքային ջրեր ապօրինի կերպով ներխուժած թուրքական նավթային բեռնատրանսպորային նավը, ինչի հետևանքով թուրքական կողմն ունի զոհեր և վիրավորներ, իսկ Սիրիայի փոխարտգործնախարարի հայտարարությունն ընդամենը հերթականն էր պաշտոնական Դամասկոսի՝ Թուրքիայի կողմից միջազգային իրավունքի նորմերի բազմաթիվ խախտումների վերբերյալ նաև միջազգային ատյաններում հնչեցրած մի քանի տասնյակ հայտարարություններից:

Իսկ արաբական երկրների կողմից Թուրքիայի և նրա գործողությունների հանդեպ նման արձագանքն ու վերաբերմունքն ընդամենը պատասխանն են ընդդեմ թուրքական իշխանությունների խառնակչական քայլերի, կամ բոլոր հնարավոր իրավիճակներում հիմնկանում ապօրինի միջոցներով առավելագույն քաղաքական և տնտեսական շահեր քաղելու պաշտոնական Անկարայի որդեգրած քաղաքականության: Կասկածից վեր է՝ նման գործընթացներն ունենալու են շարունակական բնույթ:
