Քուվեյթում ՌԴ դեսպանությունում մայիսի 7-ին անցկացվել է Ռուսաստանի, Հայաստանի և ԱՊՀ մի շարք այլ պետությունների դեսպանությունների կողմից կազմակերպված համատեղ ընդունելություն՝ նվիրված Հայրենական Մեծ պատերազմում տարած հաղթանակի 70-րդ տարեդարձին: Ինչպես  տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտգործնախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից, բացման խոսքով հանդես եկող Քուվեյթում ՌԴ դեսպան Ալեքսեյ Սոլոմատինն իր ե լույթում ընդգծել է, որ հաղթանակի կերտման գործում սերունդները պարտական են նախկին ԽՍՀՄ բոլոր ժողովուրդների համատեղ ջանքերին:

Միջոցառման շրջանակներում տեղ են գտել Մոսկվայի կազակների երգչախմբի և քուվեյթահայ «Շաքե» պարային համույթի երաժշտական ու պարային մի շարք կատարումներ: Հայկական կողմը ներկայացնող «Շաքե» պարախմբի ներկայացրած համարներից «Քոչարի»-ի կատարումը բուռն խանդավառությամբ է ընդունվել հյուրերի կողմից: Միջոցառումը լայնորեն լուսաբանվել է տեղական մամուլում:

Մայիսի 10-ին Քուվեյթում ՀՀ դեսպանության մասնակցությամբ հանդիսավոր միջոցառում է անցկացվել նաև Քուվեյթի հայ ազգային վարժարանում` նվիրված Շուշիի ազատագրման 23-րդ և Հայրենական Մեծ պատերազմում տարած հաղթանակի 70-րդ տարեդարձներին: Վարժարանի սաները հանդես են եկել երաժշտական, պարային և ասմունքի կատարումներով:
