Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Արամ Ա Վեհափառ Հայրապետը Նյու Ջերսիի համայնքային շուրջ հարյուր պատասխանատուների հետ ունեցած իր հանդիպման ընթացքում պատասխանել է իրեն ուղղված բազմաթիվ հարցերին, որոնք մեծ մասամբ առնչվում էին Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցին, Սիսի կաթողիկոսարանի վերադարձի համար Թուրքիայի Սահմանադրական դատարանում բացված դատին, սիրիահայությանը, Միջին Արևելքի իրավիճակին, Հայաստան-սփյուռք հար աբերություններին և Մեծի Տանն Կիլիկիո կաթողիկոսության առաքելությանը:

Այս մասին տեղեկացանք Կիլիկիո կաթողիկոսության պաշտոնական կայքից: Սիրիահայության վերաբերյալ Վեհափառը նշել է. «Սիրիայի տագնապի առաջին իսկ օրվանից, խորհրդակցելով սիրիահայության պատասխանատուների հետ, մեր Սուրբ Աթոռը հստակ կեցվածք ընդունեց: Մենք, որպես համայնք, սիրիացի ժողովրդի հետ ենք. վարչակարգերը մնայուն չեն, մնայունը Սիրիան է իր ժողովրդով: Մենք որպես սիրիահայություն՝ միշտ երախտապարտ ենք Սիրիայի ժողովրդին, քանի որ ցեղասպանությունից հետո այն մեր ժողովրդի զավակներին ընդունեց և իր հայրենիքն ու հացը կիսեց մեզ հետ»: Վեհափառն առաջնային է համարել սիրիահայության համայնքի վերականգնումը, ուստի այդ նպատակով հանգանակություններ են կատարավել և շարունակվում են կատարվել:

Ապահովական առումով Վեհափառը նշել է, որ Ջեզիրեի, հատկապես Ղամիշլիի շրջանը համեմատաբար ապահով է, Դամասկոսի շրջանում մերթընդմերթ ռումբեր են ընկնում, Քեսաբի և ծովեզրյա շրջանը կարելի է ապահով համարել, մտահոգիչ է միայն Հալեպը, որտեղ քրիստոնեական, ներառյալ հայկական շրջանները, մոտ լինելով հակամարտող կողմերն իրարից բաժանող սահմանագծին, հաճախ ենթարկվում են ռմբակոծությունների:
