Հայաստանում էականորեն նվազել են ճանապարհատրանսպորտային պատահարների հետևանքով մահացության դեպքերը: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես» լրատվական գործակալության մամուլի սրահում կազմակերպված աշխատանքային քննարկման ժամանակ հայտնեց «Ճանապարհային անվտանգության ազգային խորհուրդ» հասարակական կազմակերպության խորհրդի անդամ Տիգրան Ղազարյանը: «Նախորդ տարի ճանապարհատրանսպորտային պատահարների հետևանքով ունեցել ենք մահացության 290 դեպք: Սակայն, դրա փոխարեն, ավելացել են վթարների պատճառով մարմնական վնասվածք ստանալու դեպքերը, ինչը ևս մտահոգիչ է: Նշեմ, որ նախկինում որպես ճանապարհատրասպորտային պատահարի արդյունքում մահ գրանցվում էր ընդամենը 1-2 օրվա ընթացքում առաջացած մահը. այսինքն՝ եթե ճանապարհատրասպորտային պատահարի հետևանքով տուժածին հիվանդանոց էին տանում և նա մահանում էր երրորդ կամ չորրորդ օրը, դա արդեն վթարի հետևանքով առաջացած մահ չէր գրանցվում: Սակայն Հայաստանում ներմուծվել է միջազգայ ին ստանդարտներին համապատասխանող նոր մեթոդ, որի համաձայն՝ եթե ճանապարհատրանսպորտային պատահարի արդյունքում տուժած անձը մահանում է 30 օրվա ընթացքում, նա համարվում է վթարի զոհ: Հետևաբար, եթե մենք սկսում ենք գրանցումն անել՝ ելնելով այս չափանիշից, պատահարների հետևանքով մահացածների քանակն ավելանում է, սակայն մեզ մոտ այդ ցուցանիշը զգալիորեն նվազել է»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ նշեց Ղազարյանը:

Նա ընդգծեց, որ ճանապարհային ոստիկանության կողմից Հայաստանում ՃՏՊ-ների վիճակագրությունն իրականացվել է թե՛ շաբաթվա, թե՛ օրվա կտրվածքով: «Ճանապարհատրանսպորտային պատահարների մեծամասնությունը տեղի է ունենում ոչ աշխատանքային օրերին: Նախորդ տարիների ընթացքում ամենամեծ թվով պատահարներ տեղի են ունեցել ժամը 21:00-24:00-ն ընկած ժամանակահատվածում: Բնականաբար, պատճառը վարորդների հոգնածությունն է, սթափության պակասը, ճանապարհների ոչ բարվոք վիճակը: Սրանք խոչընդոտ են ճանապարհատրանսպորտային պատահարների կրճատման համար»,- նկատեց Տիգրան Ղազարյանը:

Նա ՃՏՊ-ների կանխարգելման գործում մեծապես կարևորում է նաև լրատվամիջոցների դերը: «Սակայն ներկայումս ճանապարհատրասպորտային պատահարի վերաբերյալ լրագրողի մեկնաբանությունը հիմնականում հանգում է պատահարի և դրա հետևանքի նկարագրությանը: Մենք առաջարկում ենք ճանապարհատրանսպորտային պատահարների ներկայացումը սկսել հետ նայելով՝ ներկայացնելով նաև դրա պատճառը, ինչը կարող է կանխարգելող գործառույթ լինել»,- ընդգծեց Ղազարյանը:
