Էլեկտրաէներգիայի սակագնի բարձրացումը հարված կլինի ոչ միայն Հայաստանի քաղաքացիների գրպանին, այլ նաև մեծ վնաս կհասցնի երկրի տնտեսությանը: Ազգային ժողովում լրագրողների հետ զրույցում նման կարծիք հայտնեց խորհրդարանի խոսնակ Գալուստ Սահակյանը: «Իհարկե, էլեկտրաէներգիայի թանկացման հարցը մտահոգում է բոլորիս: Դրա համար պատահական չէ, որ մայիսի 18-ինԱզգային ժողովում այդքան երկար քննարկում եղավ այդ թեմայով: Մենք քննարկել և որոշել ենք մեծ ծավալի լսումներ անցկացնել, որին կմասնակցեն թանկացման հայտը ներկայացրած կազմակերպությունների ներկայացուցիչները: Լևոն Զուրաբյանն էլ ստորագրահավաք է անցկացրել, որպեսզի այդ հարցը հենց Ազգային ժողովի նիստում քննարկվի, սակայն այստեղ մի խնդրի կա, որ այս պահին բավարար նյութեր չկան: Հայտը, որ ներկայացվել է, բաղկացած է 4 հազար էջից: Պատգամավորները, ինչպես նաև մասնագետները պետք է մանրամասն ուսումնասիրեն այդ հայտը, որ բավարար նյութեր լինեն քննարկումներ սկսելու համար»,- ընդգծեց Սահակյանը:

Անդրադառնալով էլեկտրաէներգիայի սակագնի բարձրացման հայտն ուսումնասիրող ԱԺ ժամանակավոր հանձնաժողովի ձևավորման մասին խոսակցություններին՝ Գալուստ Սահակյանը կարծիք հայտնեց, որ նման հանձնաժողով ստեղծելու կարիք չկա, քանի որ այն էական որևէ բան չի կարող տալ: «Ես կարծում եմ, որ սա այն հարցը չէ, որ կարելի է պոպուլիզմի եղանակով լուծել, իսկ նման հանձնաժողովը, բացի պոպուլիստական ելույթներից, այլ բան չի կարող տալ: Ես Հանրային ծառայությունները կարգավորող հանձնաժողովին խնդրել եմ, որպեսզի որքան հնարավոր է արագ ուսումնասիրեն հայտը՝ մեր պատգամավորներին և հանրությանը հուզող հարցերին պատասխանելու համար»,- ընդգծեց ԱԺ նախագահը՝ հույս հայտնելով, որ մայիսի վերջին հանձնաժողովը պատրաստ կլինի պատասխանելու հարցերին:

Գալուստ Սահակյանը նաև կարծիք հայտնեց, որ էլեկտրաէներգիայի սակագնի 17 դրամ բարձրացումը, ինչպես նշված է հայտում, այնքան էլ իրատեսական չէ: Հարցին, թե ինքը դե՞մ է էլեկտրաէներգիայի թանկացմանը, Գալուստ Սահակյանը պատասխանեց, որ Հայաստանում չկա որևէ մեկը, ով կողմ կլինի թանկացմանը:

Հարցին, թե սակագնի որքա՞ն բարձրացումն ընդունելի կլինի իր համար, Գալուստ Սահակյանը պատասխանեց, որ ընդունելի կլինի այն, ինչը համապարփակ վերլուծությունների արդյունքում կներկայացվի հանրությանը:
