«Ժամանակ» թերթը գրում է. «Աբովյանի քաղաքապետի թեկնածու, նախկին քաղաքապետ Կարո Իսրայելյանը բավականին նեղացած է Գագիկ Ծառուկյանից: Նա օրերս մկրատով երկու մասի է բաժանել 15 տարի շարունակ իրենց տան պատից կախված` իր ու Ծառուկյանի համատեղ լուսանկարը, Ծառուկյանի պատկերով հատվածը դրել է ծրարի մեջ ու մի շատ հուզիչ նամակի հետ պատրաստվում է ուղարկել նրան: Իսկ նամակում քաղաքապետի թեկնածուն ցավ է հայտնել, որ որոշ մարդիկ փչացրեցին իրենց` 15 տարվա բարեկամությունն ու ընկերությունը:

«Նամակում ցավ եմ հայտնել, որ մեր 15 տարվա ընկերությունն այսպես ավարտվեց, որ որոշ մարդիկ դրա շնորհիվ որոշակի հաջողությունների հասան՝ ոտնատակ տալով ու ավերելով իմ կողմից սահուն ռելսերի վրա դրված քաղաքը»,- մեզ ասաց Իսրայելյանը:

Բանն այն է, որ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի կողմից առաջադրված թեկնածուն, որին սատարում է նաեւ ՀՀԿ-ն, եւ նրա թիմը անհավասար մրցակցային մթնոլորտ են ստեղծել Աբովյան քաղաքում ընտրություններից առաջ: Քարոզարշավը չմեկնարկած` նրանք քարոզարշավ են իրականացնում ամբողջ քաղաքում, շտաբ են բացել, ասֆալտապատման աշխատանքներ են իրականացնում: Իսկ թեկնածուի թիմը, Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի թիկնազորի պետի գլխավորությամբ, վախի մթնոլորտ է ստեղծում ամբողջ քաղաքում:

Կարո Իսրայելյանը մեզ հետ զրույցում նաեւ ասաց, որ առաջադրվելուց հետո Գագիկ Ծառուկյանն իրեն կանչել է հանդիպման, բայց ինքը չի գնացել, երեկ եւս այս մասին ասելով հավելեց. «Ես հարգում եմ Ծառուկյանին, շարունակելու եմ հարգել, քանի որ նրա հետ, նրա օջախում հաց եմ կիսել, բայց այլեւս ոչ մի կապ չեմ ուզում ունենալ նրա հետ: Բոլոր կամուրջներն այրել եմ ու կապերը խզել: Դրա համար էլ անգամ լուսանկարն եմ երեխաների պես, ջահել սիրահարների պես մկրատով սիրուն երկու մասի բաժանել, որը նույնպես խորհրդանշում է մեր կապի խզումը»:

Քաղաքապետի թեկնածուն ասաց, որ որոշել է տնից դուրս չգալ, քանի դեռ քարոզարշավը չի սկսել: Քարոզարշավը կսկսի, նոր դուրս կգա ու կշփվի աբովյանցիների հետ, ովքեր իրեն, նրա ձեւակերպմամբ, շատ են սիրում: «Առանձնապես անելիք չունեմ: Մի բուկլետ կտպագրեմ իմ սիրելի պոետի ՝ Պարույր Սեւակի խոսքերով, ու վերջ: Ես աբովյանցիներին ապացուցել եմ, թե ես ով եմ: Ուրիշ ասելիք չունեմ»,-եզրափակեց Կարո Իսրայելյանը»:
