ՆԱՏՕ-ի գործընկերության քաղաքականությունը բացառիկության հավակնություններ չունի և, ինչպես Հայաստանի դեպքում, հնարավոր է համադրել այլ համագործակցությունների հետ: Հայաստանն ունի բավականին կայացած գործընկերային հարաբերություններ ՆԱՏՕ-ի հետ, միևնույն ժամանակ անդամակցում ու մասնակցում է ՀԱՊԿ աշխատանքներին: Երևանում կայացած մամուլի ասուլիսին նման հայտարարությամբ հանդես եկավ Գերմանիայի ԱԳՆ ՆԱՏՕ-ի բաժնի ղեկավար Յասպեր Վիկը: «Այս երկվեկտոր քաղաքականությունը բնավ խնդիրներ չի առաջացնում, Հայաստանն է որոշում անվտանգության ինչպիսի քաղաքականությունների և գործընկերությունների ինչպիսի համադրություն ընտրել: ՆԱՏՕ-ի գործընկերության քաղաքականությունը որևէ մեկի դեմ ուղղված չէ: Ընդ որում, ավելի քան երկու տասնամյակ ՆԱՏՕ-ի գործընկեր է եղել նաև Ռուսաստանը»,- ասաց բանախոսը:

Նրա խոսքով` ՆԱՏՕ-ի գործընկերության փիլիսոփայության մյուս ասպեկտն այն է, թե գործընկեր երկիրը ինչպիսի խորությամբ ու ինտենսիվությամբ է ցանկանում համագործակցել: «Ուելսի գագաթնաժողովում պետությունների ղեկավարները նախաձեռնեցին պաշտպանության քաղաքականության կատարելագործման քաղաքականությունը, որում վերահաստատվեց, որ անվտանգության սեփական ոլորտի իրականացման ու պաշտպանական կարողությունների բարձրացման համար ՆԱՏՕ-ն պետություններին տրամադրում է տարբեր գործիքներ: Սակայն այս առաջարկը պահանջարկով ուղղորդվող մոտեցում է ու Հայաստանն ինքն է որոշում այս առաջարկից ինչպես օգտվել և որքանով»,-ավելացրեց Յասպեր Վիկը:

Նրա տեղեկացմամբ` առաջիկայում ՆԱՏՕ-ին առնչվող մի շարք միջոցառումներ կիրականացվեն: «Անցյալ ամիս արդեն ՄԱԿ-ի անվտանգության խորհրդի թիվ 1325 բանաձև հարցերով զեկուցողը ժամանեց Հայաստան, բանաձևը վերաբերում է կանանց, խաղաղության և անվտանգության թեմաներին: Այսօր առավոտյան արդեն քննարկում ունեցանք ՆԱՏՕ-Հայաստան գործընկերության ու ՆԱՏՕ-ի անվտանգության միջավայրի փոփոխությունների թեմաներով: Մյուս ամիս Երևանում կանցկացվի Rose Roth սեմինարը, որին կմասնակցեն ՆԱՏՕ-ի դաշնակից ու գործընկեր երկրների պատգամավորներ: Իսկ աշնանը կլինի ՆԱՏՕ-ի ավանդական դարձած մեկ շաբաթը»,-հավելեց բանախոսը:

Գերմանիայի ԱԳՆ ՆԱՏՕ-ի բաժնի ղեկավարը հիշեցրեց, որ այս տարվա հունվարի մեկից Հայաստանում ՆԱՏՕ-ի կոնտակային դեսպանության գործառույթը ստանձնել է Գերմանիան: «ՆԱՏՕ-ի մասնակից երկրներից դեսպանությունները հերթով հանգուցային գրասենյակի դեր են կատարում տվյալ երկրում: Այս գործառույթը կատարվում է երկու տարով, Գերմանիան կստանձնի մինչև 2016-ի տարեվերջ: Գործառույթը ստաձնել ենք Միացյալ Թագավորությունից ու կփորձենք արդարացնել բարձր սպասելիքները, որոնք ձևավորվել են Միացյալ Թագավարության ժամանակահատվածում»,-հայտնեց Յասպեր Վիկը:
