Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը հյուրընկալել է բարձր առաջադիմությամբ սովորող ստեփանակերտցի 10 աշակերտների ու նրանց ուսուցիչներին։ Ողջունելով հյուրերին` Տարոն Մարգարյանն իր գոհունակությունն է հայտնել Երևանի և Ստեփանակերտի միջև ստորագրված համագործակցության հուշագրի շրջանակում հետզհետե սերտացող ու խորացող փոխգործակցության որակից, նաև համոզմունք հայտնել, որ հայկական երկու պետությունների մայրաքաղաքների միջև առկա բազմոլորտ համագործակցությունն էլ ավելի կամրապնդվի: 

«Երևանի բոլոր վարչական շրջաններն այսօր սերտ համագործակցում են Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետության բոլոր շրջանների հետ, և ձեր այս այցով, ըստ էության, սկիզբ է դրվում նաև դպրոցների միջև համագործակցությանը, որը, համոզված եմ, լինելու է շարունակական։ Սա առանձնակի ողջունելի է նաև այն տեսանկյունից, որ մեր ապագա սերունդներն արդեն այսօրվանից են իրար հետ հաստատում ընկերական կապեր, ինչն իր հերթին հաստատապես երաշխավորելու է երկու քաղաքների սերտ համագործակցությունը նաև ապագայում: Միշտ հիշեք, որ Երևանում դուք սպասված եք, ընդ որում` ոչ թե որպես ուղղակի հյուրեր, այլ որպես հարազատներ»,- ընդգծել է քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը։

Հաշվի առնելով, որ մինչ Երևանի քաղաքապետին հյուրընկալվելը՝ ստեփանակերտցի աշակերտներն արդեն այցելել էին իրենց կրթօջախներին անվանակից երևանյան դպրոցներ, նրանք քաղաքապետին պատմել են այցի առաջին տպավորությունների մասին և շնորհակալություն հայտնել հրավերի ու ջերմ հյուրընկալության համար։

Քաղաքապետարանի աշխատակազմի հանրակրթության վարչության պետ Գայանե Սողոմոնյանն էլ քաղաքապետին ներկայացրել է ստեփանակերտցի աշակերտների համար պատրաստած հագեցած ծրագիրը՝ նշելով, որ բացի դպրոցներ այցելությունից, նախատեսվել է նաև այցելություններ թանգարաններ, մշակութային այլ հաստատություններ, եկեղեցի, նաև զբոսանք Երևանում։ Քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանն էլ վստահեցրել է, որ արդեն հաջորդ այցին աշակերտները հնարավորություն կունենան լինել նաև Երևանի կենդանաբանական այգում,որը մեծ վերանորոգումից հետո դառնում է տարածաշրջանում նախադեպը չունեցող կենդանաբանական այգի։
