Աշխատանքային այցով Տոկիոյում գտնվող ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովի գլխավորած պատվիրակությունը մայիսի 26-ին հանդիպում է ունեցել Ճապոնիա-Հայաստան խորհրդարանական բարեկամության լիգայի անդամների հետ: Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ԱԺ հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, հանդիպմանը քննարկվել են հայ-ճապոնական միջխորհրդարանական հարաբերություններին առնչվող հարցեր, կարեւորվել է փոխայցերի անհրաժեշտությունը` երկխոսության ակտիվացման եÖ ‚ երկկողմ հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնող ծրագրերի նախագծման համար:

ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը Ճապոնիա-Հայաստան խորհրդարանական բարեկամության լիգայի ղեկավար Սեյշիրո էտոյին, բարեկամության լիգայի ղեկավարի տեղակալ Տակեակի Մացումոտոյին եւ խմբի անդամ, Ճապոնիայի Արտաքին գործերի պետական նախարար Մինորու Կիուչիին պարգեւատրել է ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահի հուշամեդալներով` հայ-ճապոնական կապերի ամրապնդմանն ու խորացմանը նպաստելու համար:

Նույն օրը հայկական պատվիրակությունը հանդիպում է ունեցել նաեւ Ճապոնիայի Արտաքին գործերի նախարարության Կովկասի հարցերով հատուկ ներկայացուցիչ, դեսպան Ակիրա Մուտոյի հետ: Զրուցակիցներն անդրադարձել են Հայաստանի եւ Ճապոնիայի ներքաղաքական զարգացումներին, երկկողմ առեւտրատնտեսական կապերի ընդլայնման հեռանկարներին, միջազգային կազմակերպություններում համագործակցության սերտացմանն առնչվող հարցերի: Կողմերը մտքեր են փոխանակել նաեւ տարածաշրջանային եւ միջազգային խնդիրների շուրջ:

Դեսպան Ակիրա Մուտոյի խնդրանքով հայկական կողմն անդրադարձել է հայ-թուրքական հարաբերություններին եւ ԼՂ հակամարտությանը: Հայկական պատվիրակության ղեկավարը դատապարտելի է համարել Թուրքիայի կողմից Հայաստանի ապօրինի շրջափակումը՝ ընդգծելով, որ Թուրքիան հայ-թուրքական սահմանի բացումն անիրավացիորեն շաղկապում է ԼՂ հակամարտության կարգավորման հետ: Նա նշել է, հիմնախնդիրը պետք է կարգավորվի բացառապես ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի ձեւաչափով՝ երեք հայտնի սկզբունքների հիման վրա, եւ Թուրքիան այնտեղ որեւէ անելիք չունի: ԱԺ փոխնախագահն անթույլատրելի է որակել Ադրբ եջանի գործողությունները՝ նշելով, որ դրանք չեն համապատասխանում բանակցային գործընթացի ընդհանուր ոգուն, հակասում են ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների հայտարարություններին եւ առաջարկություններին:

Պատվիրակության կազմում են Հայաստան-Ճապոնիա պատգամավորական բարեկամության խմբի ղեկավար Սամվել Ֆարմանյանը եւ խմբի անդամ Ալեքսանդր Արզումանյանը: Խորհրդարանական պատվիրակությանն ուղեկցել է Ճապոնիայում ՀՀ արտակարգ եւ լիազոր դեսպան Հրանտ Պողոսյանը:
