 Բեյրութի «Հովհաննես Պողոսյան» սրահում Լիբանանի հայ համայնքի անդամները և ՀՀ դեսպան Աշոտ Քոչարյանը տոնել են Հանրապետության օրը: Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի ծառայությունից, միջոցառումը նախաձեռնել էր ՀՅԴ Լիբանանի Կենտրոնական կոմիտեի քարոզչական մարմինը:

Միջոցառմանը մասնակցել է Լիբանանում ՀՀ դեսպան Աշոտ Քոչարյանը: Նա նշել է, որ չնայած հայրենազրկման, հնամյա մշակույթի ոչնչացման փորձերին, մեր հանդեպ կատարված ոճռագործություններին, հայ ժողովուրդը, որպես հավաքական ազգ և իբրև պետություն, ուժ գտավ` վերադառնալու միջազգային քաղաքական բեմ և շարունակելու հավերժական ընթացքը: Խոսելով Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցի միջոցառումների մասին` դեսպանը նշել է, որ հայ ժողովրդի միասնականությունը և համախմբվածությունը հիմք է և երաշխիք ապագա նվաճումների և հաղթանակների համար:

Նա ընդգծել է, որ 100 տարի անց, ոգեկոչելով անմեղ զոհերին, հայ ժողովուրդը համայն աշխարհին ներկայանում է անկախ պետությամբ, ազատ Արցախով, հայապահպանության և հանուն Հայաստանի զարգացման արժեքներով ապրող կենսունակ սփյուռքով: Դեսպանը բարձր է գնահատել լիբանանահայության ազգանվեր և հայապահպան գործունեությունը, որը, պահպանելով հարուստ ազգային մշակույթն ու արժեքները, տարբեր ծրագրերի միջոցով նպաստում է Հայաստանի և Արցախի զարգացմանն ու հզորացմանը:
Քարոզչական մարմնի անդամ Հուրի Փափազյան-Էմմիյանն իր հերթին կարևորել է անկախության անշրջելի արժե քը` ընդգծելով, որ հայ ժողովրդի համար անկախությունը վերապրելու կամքի դրսևորում է:

Փոխանցելով ՀՅԴ Լիբանանի երիտասարդական միության և ՀՅԴ ԶՈՄ-ի խոսքը՝ Հարութ Լափաճյանը և Արևիկ Փափազյանը խոսել են հայ ժողովրդի անցած դժվարին ուղու մասին, կարևորել մայիսի 28-ի արժեքը, ինչը հայրենիքից հեռու ապրող սերունդների համար ազգային դաստիարակության լուսավոր դպրոց է: Իսկ ՔԱՀԼ-ի տնօրեն Սեպուհ Թերզյանն ընդգծել է, որ յուրաքանչյուր հայ պետք է գիտակցի իր ազգային կոչումը, պատկանելիությունն ու ազգային արժանապատվությունը՝ հավատարիմ մնալով ազգային արժեքներին` լեզվին, պատմությանը, մշակույթին և ավանդույթներին:

ՀՅԴ Լիբանանի Կենտրոնական կոմիտեի անդամ Մելիք Կարաքավորյանն իր խոսքում կարևորել է մայիսյան հաղթանակներն ու նվաճումները, ինչպես նաև Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցին առնչվող Համահայկական հռչակագրի ընդունումը:

Երեկոյի ընթացքում երաժշտական կատարումներով հանդես են եկել դաշնակահար Գի Մանուկյանը և ազատամարտիկ, երգիչ Մկրտիչ Մկրտչյանը (Մակիչ):
