Հայաստանում սոցիալական այլընտրանքային կենտրոնների բացումից հետո կրճատվել է գիշերօթիկներում ապրող երեխաների թիվը: Այս մասին լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանժամանակ հայտնեց Աշխատանքի և սոցիալական հարցերի նախարարության ընտանիքի ևերեխաների հիմնահարցերի վարչության պետ Գեղանուշ Գյունաշյանը: Նրա խոսքով`  համայնքներում, որտեղ ներդրվել են այդ կենտրոնները, ավելացել է  այն կենսաբանական ծնողների թիվը, ովքեր ընտանիք են վերադարձնում իրենց երեխաներին:

«Գիշերօթիկներում բնակվող երեխաների ընտանիքների հիմնական մասը սոցիալկան ծանր խնդիրներ ունի, ինչի արդյունքում էլ երեխաներին տեղափոխում են հատուկ կենտրոններ: Մեծ թիվ են կազմում այն երեխաները, որոնց հայրերը մեկնել են արտագնա աշխատանքի և չեն վերադարձել, իսկ մայրերը, սոցիալական ծանր վիճակից դրդված, երեխաներին հանձնել են պետական կենտրնների խնամքին»,- ասաց Գյունաշյանը:

Նրա խոսքով` այդ կենտրոնների նպատակն այն էր, որ երեխաների ճակատագիրը չորոշվեր գրչի մեկ հարվածով: «Կենտրոնների հիմնումից հետո ուսումնասիրվում է ընտանիքի սոցիալական վիճակը, աշխատանք է տարվում նրանց հետ, ծնողների համար աշխատանքով ապահովման ծրագրեր են իրականացվում»,- հավելեց նա:

Գյունաշյանը տեղեկացրեց, որ պատկերը փոքր-ինչ այլ է մանկատների պարագայում: «Հայաստանի մանկատներում ապաստան գտած մանուկների ավելի քան 70 տոկոսը հաշմանդամություն ունեցող երեխաներ են: Դրա պատճառն այն է, որ նրանց բնակության վայրում չկան հաշմանդամություն ունեցող երեխաների խնամքի կենտրոններ: Ծնողները չգիտեն` ինչպես պետք է խնամեն իրենց երեխաներին»,- ասաց նա:

Ընտանիքի և երեխաների հիմնահարցերի վարչության պետը հայտնեց, որ, օրինակ, Գավառի մանկատանընվազել է երեխաների քանակը, ինչը ողջունելի է: Անցած տարվա ընթացքում Գավառի մանկատնում խնամվումէր 131, իսկ այժմ՝ 65 երեխա:
