Աշխատանքային այցով Ֆրանսիայի Հանրապետությունում գտնվող Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն հունիսի 5-ին հանդիպել է Նիցցայի քաղաքապետ Քրիստիան Էստրոզիի հետ:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, քաղաքապետ Էստրոզին, ողջունելով ՀՀ Նախագահին՝ նշել է, թե մեծ պատիվ է, որ Հայաստանն աշխարհի ամենահայտնի փառատոններից մեկի՝ «Միդեմ» միջազգային աշխարհահռչակ երաժշտական փառատոնի պատվավոր հյուրն է:

Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել ջերմ հյուրընկալության համար և ընդգծել, որ Նիցցան Հայաստանի մայրաքաղաք Երևանի հետ քույր քաղաք է, իսկ բարեկամ Ֆրանսիան Հայաստանի և հայ ժողովրդի համար՝ յուրահատուկ երկիր: Նախագահը նշել է, որ Հայաստանում ծանոթ են քաղաքապետ Քրիստիան Էստրոզիի գործունեությանը և հայերի նկատմամբ նրա հոգատար վերաբերմունքին: Սերժ Սարգսյանի խոսքով, ս.թ. ապրիլի 24-ին Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցի կապակցությամբ Նիցցայում անցկացված հիշատակի ոգեկոչման միջոցառումները, հայ ժողովրդի մեծ վշտին հաղորադակից լինելը և այլոց ևս հաղորդակից դարձնելը այդ վերաբերմունքի վկայությունն է:

Նիցցայի քաղաքապետը նշել է, թե հայ ժողովրդի ապրած ողբերգության ճանաչումը, իր համոզմամբ, բոլորի պարտքն է: Նա գոհունակությամբ է խոսել Երևանի և Նիցցայի միջև ձևավորված հարաբերությունների ու համագործակցության մասին, ընդգծել, որ Հայաստանի Նախագահն իրենց համար մշտապես ցանկալի հյուր է: Քաղաքապետ Քրիստիան Էստրոզին նաև տեղեկացրել է, որ ծրագրում է մինչև տարեվերջ այցելել Երևան և ավելի ամրապնդել Երևանի ու Նիցցայի միջև բարեկամական կապերը, քննարկել համագործակցության նոր հնարավորությունները:
