ՀՀ գլխավոր դատախազ Գևորգ Կոստանյանը պատրաստ է ընդունել ցանկացած քննադատություն, որը կլինի կառուցողական և փաստարկված: Ազգային ժողովում լրագրողների հետ զրույցում անդրադառնալով իր գործունեության նկատմամբ  ԱԺ ՀԱԿ խմբակցության պատգամավոր Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի քննադատական ելույթին՝ Գևորգ Կոստանյանը նշեց, որ ինքը ժամանակի  կորուստ է համարում քննարկման առարկա դարձնել անհիմն, անհեթեթ և էմոցիոնալ բնույթի որևէ հայտարարություն: «Իսկ եթե որևէ հայտարարության մեջ լինի որևէ փաստական տվյալ, ես պատրաստ եմ դա քննարկել և ներկայացնել հակափաստարկներ: Իսկ քննադատության ողջամտության պայմաններում, եթե կհիմնավորվի, որ ես կամ դատախազությունը գործի մեջ թերացել ենք, իհարկե, կշտկեմ դա»,- նշեց Կոստանյանը:

Նա նկատեց, որ ողջամտությունը պահանջում է ըմբռնումով վերաբերվել ցանկացած հայտարարությունների, որոնք իրենց հիմքում չունեն ոչ մի տրամաբանություն, բարոյականություն, դուրս են տարրական աշխարհայացքի սահմաններից՝ անկախ մասնագիտությունից կամ տվյալ մասնագիտության մեջ տվյալ անձի մասնագիտացումից:

Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը նաև դժգոհություն էր հայտնել Գևորգ Կոստանյանի ժեստիկուլյացիայից՝ պնդելով, թե նա պատգամավորների հետ խոսում է մատ թափ տալով: Գևորգ Կոստանյանն էլ նկատեց, որ ժեստիկույացիան մարդկային փոխհարաբերությունների կազմակերպման եղանակ է: «Դա դասագրքում էլ է գրված: Կլինի դա խորհրդարանում, թե որևէ այլ տեղ, ժեստիկուլյացիան ընդամենը միմյանց հետ փոխհարաբերվելու միջոց է: Որևէ տարբերություն չկա, թե որտեղ է այդ ժեստիկուլյացիան արտահայտվում: Ինձ համար ապշեցուցիչ է, որ ժեստիկուլյացիան կարող է քննարկման առարկա դառնալ, ուր մնաց քննադատության»,- ասաց ՀՀ գլխավոր դատախազը:

Դիտարկմանը, թե ժեստիկուլյացիայի են դիմում այն ժամանակ, երբ արտահայտվելու համար բառերը սպառվում են, Գևորգ Կոստանյանը կոչ արեց հետևել իր ելույթներին և համոզվել, որ չկա մի ելույթ, որի ժամանակ իր բառերը սպառվեն:
