Սևան քաղաքում կհիմնվի միջազգային գիտափորձարարական կենտրոն, որը կզբաղվի Հայաստանի և Բելառուսի բարձրադիր ջրային էկոհամակարգերի ուսումնասիրությամբ: Այս մասին  տեղեկացրեց ՀՀ ԳԱԱ Կենդանաբանության և Հիդրոէկոլոգիայի գիտական կենտրոնի Հիդրոէկոլոգիայի և ձկնաբանության ինս տիտուտի տնօրեն Էվելինա Ղուկասյանը: «Հայ-բելառուսական համագործակցության շրջանակներում հայաստանյան կողմից ուշադրության կենտրոնում կգտնվի Սևանա լիճը, իսկ բելառուսական կողմից' մի քանի բարձրադիր լճեր: Համագործակցության շրջանակներում մեր մասնագետները կայցելեն Բելառուս, և հակառակը՝ համատեղ հետազոտություններ անցկացնելու նպատակով»,- ասաց Էվելինա Ղուկասյանը:

Հիդրոէկոլոգիայի և ձկնաբանության ինստիտուտի տնօրենը հավելեց, որ Սևանն ինքնատիպ էկոհամակարգ է, հաշվի առնելով աշխարհում քիչ քանակությամբ բարձրադիր քաղցրահամ ջրերով լճերի առկայությունը, և այդ առումով Սևանը միշտ եղել է գիտնականների ուշադրության կենտրոնում և իր էնդեմիկ կենսաբազմազանությամբ, և իր հիդրոքիմիական առանձնահատկություններով:

«Ցավոք, նաև ուշադրություն է գրավում այն փաստը, որ անտրոպոգեն ազդեցության տակ Սևանը լուրջ փոփոխությունների է ենթարկվել և կարծես թե դարձել է փորձարարական միջավայր, որտեղ կարելի է հետազոտել ճահճացման և հակառակ ընթացքները: Այդ առումով այն իսկապես գտնվում է աշխարհի գիտնականների ուշադրության ներքո»,- հավելեց Էվելինա Ղուկասյանը:
