Հրշեջներին ընդամենը երեք պահեստարան Է մնացել մարելու Կիեւի մարզի Վասիլկովյան շրջանի նավթաբազայում այրված 17 պահեստարաններից: Այդ մասին հայտնել Է հանրապետության Արտակարգ իրավիճակների պետական ծառայության Կիեւի գլխավոր վարչության պետի պաշտոնակատար Վալերի Բորիսը:

«Ներկայում մարվում են հրդեհի ոչ մեծ օջախներ: Այն տարողությունները, որոնք դեռեւս այրվում են, մենք չենք կարող մարել. մեկում յուղ Է, իսկ այնտեղ, որտեղ վառելիքն Է, պարզապես շատ բարձր Է ջերմաստիճանը, մոտենալն անհնարին Է»,-ասել Է նա լրագրողներին:

Հրդեհի կապակցությամբ սկսել Է տեղի բնակիչների տարհանումը 2 կիլոմետր շառավղով, իսկ այրվող նավթաբազայից ոչ հեռու գտնվող ավանում «սեւ անձրեւ» Է տեղացել:

Տեղի ունեցածի վարկածները շատ տարբեր են՝ դիտավորյալ հրկիզումից մինչեւ տեխնիկական սխալները նավթամթերքների հետ աշխատելիս: Ինչպես հայտնել Է Ուկրաինայի նախագահի մամուլի քարտուղար Սվյատոսլավ Ցեգոլկոն, ահաբեկչական գործողության՝ որպես հրդեհի պատճառի, վարկածը չի հաստատվում: Արտակարգ պատահարի փաստով քրեական գործ Է հարուցվել: Էկոլոգները կանխագուշակում են, որ նման խոշոր հրդեհը կբերի աղետալի հետեւանքների՝ վնասակար նյութերով բնության աղտոտման եւ մարդկանց հիվանդանալուն:

Կրյաչկի գյուղում «ԲՌՍՄ-նեֆտ» նավթաբազայում հրդեհը բռնկել Է հունիսի 8-ի երկոյան: Հունիսի 9-ի առավոտյան փրկարարները հայտնել են պայթյունի մասին: Ճշտվել Է, որ այրման գոտում գտնվում Է նավթամթերքների եւս մեկ բազա՝ KLO-ն: Ուկրաինայի ՆԳ նախարարության տվյալներով՝ հրդեհի հետեւանքով զոհվել Է մեկ, վիրավորվել՝ 14 մարդ:  

Ուկրաինայի պաշտպանության նախարար Ստեպան Պոլտորակը, որը գտնվում Է հրդեհի շրջանում, ավելի վաղ հայտնել Է, որ նավթաբազայի մոտ գտնվող անտառը հատել են, որպեսզի կրակը չանցնի մերձակայքում գտնվող զորամաս: Կիեւի քաղաքագլուխ Վիտալի Կլիչկոն հայտնել Է, որ մասնագետները նավթաբազայի շրջանի օդում վտանգավոր նյութեր չեն գրանցել:

Ուկրաինայի նախագահ Պյոտր Պորոշենկոն Ազգային անվտանգության եւ պաշտպանության խորհրդի քարտուղար Ալեքսանդր Տուրչինովին հանձնարարել Է պաշտպանել քաղաքացիական բնակչությանը Կիեւի մարզի նավթաբազայի հրդեհի վայրում, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
