ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը հունիսի 12-ին ընդունել է Իրանի խորհրդարանի Իրան-Հայաստան բարեկամության խմբի ներկայացուցչական պատվիրակությանը՝ խմբի ղեկավար Ալի Քաիդիի գլխավորությամբ: Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից, հանդիպման ժամանակ ողջունելով հյուրերին՝ Նալբանդյանը բարձր է գնահատել հայ-իրանական բարիդրացիական հարաբերությունները` կարևորելով պարբերական քաղաքական երկխոսությունը ինչպես գործադիր իշխանությունների, այնպես էլ խորհրդարանների մակարդակով:

Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ջերմ ընդունելության համար` Իրանի խորհրդարանական պատվիրակության ղեկավարն Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանին է փոխանցել մեջլիսի նախագահ Ալի Լարիջանիի ողջույնները։ Նա նշել է, որ Իրանի և Հայաստանի միջև դարերի պատմություն ունեցող բարեկամական հարաբերությունները լավ հիմք են ստեղծում տարբեր բնագավառներում համագործակցության զարգացման համար:

Հանդիպմանը երկուստեք կարևորվել է միջխորհրդարանական բարեկամության խմբերի դերակատարությունը երկու երկրների միջև փոխհարաբերությունների ամրապնդման և ընդլայնման գործում:

Նախարար Նալբանդյանը երախտագիտություն է հայտնել իրանահայ համայնքի և Իրանում հայկական մշակութային ժառանգության նկատմամբ երկրի իշխանությունների հոգատար վերաբերմունքի համար։ Այս առումով Հայաստանի արտաքին քաղաքական գերատեսչության ղեկավարը կարևորել է Իրանի խորհրդարանում իրանահայ պատգամավորների ներկայությունը:

Ալի Քաիդին ներկայացրել է Իրանի մեջլիսի դիրքորոշումը Իրանի միջուկային ծրագրի, դրա շուրջ ընթացող բանակցությունների վերաբերյալ:
