«Իսլամական պետություն» ծայրահեղական խմբավորման զինյալները Թուրքիայի հետ սահմանի մոտ ստիպել են փախստական հազարավոր սիրիացիներին հետ դառնալ, այն բանից հետո, երբ ահաբեկիչների գրավյալ տարածքներից եկած փախստականներին մնացել էր ընդամենը 100 մետր Թուրքիայի հետ սահմանը հատելու համար։

Մոտ 13.000 մարդ փորձել է փախչել Թուրքիա՝ Տել Աբիեդ քաղաքի մոտ գտնվող սահմանով, գրում է Daily Mail-ը։

Նրանց մեծ մեծամասամբ եղել են կանայք և երեխաներ։ Թուրքիայի առողջապահության նախարարի խոսքով՝ հունիսի սկզբից արդեն ավելի քան 13.000 սիրիացի փախստականներ հատել են երկրի սահմանը։
