ՀՀ տարածքային կառավարման և արտակարգ իրավիճակների նախարարի առաջին տեղակալ Վաչե Տերտերյանը հուլիսի 1-ին ընդունել է Մեծ Բրիտանիայի և Հյուսիսային Իռլանդիայի Միացյալ Թագավորության պատվիրակությանը՝ ՄԹ պաշտպանության նախարարության միջազգային անվտանգության քաղաքականության տնօրեն Նիք Գըրի գլխավորությամբ:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ՏԿԱԻՆ Տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից,  հանդիպմանը ներկա են եղել նաև ՓԾ տնօրեն, փ/ծ գեներալ-լեյտենանտ Սերգեյ Ազարյանը և ՓԾ տնօրենի տեղակալ, փ/ծ գեներալ-մայոր Նիկոլայ Գրիգորյանը: Հանդիպման նպատակն է եղել քննարկել ՏԿԱԻ նախարարության և Միացյալ Թագավորության համապատասխան կառույցի միջև համագործակցության ընդլայնման հարցերը:

ՄԹ ՊՆ միջազգային անվտանգության քաղաքականության տնօրեն Նիք Գըրը, շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ընդունելության համար, իր երախտագիտությունն է հայտնել Հայաստանին`  ՆԱՏՕ-ի տարբեր միջոցառումների շրջանակում ակտիվ և արդյունավետ մասնակցության համար` նշելով, որ տպավորված է Հայաստանի փրկարարական ծառայության հնարավորություններով: Ընդգծելով,  որ Միացյալ Թագավորությունը պատրաստ է ընդլայնել Հայաստանի հետ համագործակցությունը`հյուրն առաջարկել է քննարկել ՏԿԱԻՆ-ի հետ հնարավոր համագործակցության ուղղությունները:

ՏԿԱԻ նախարարի առաջին տեղակալն, իր և ՏԿԱԻ նախարարի անունից ողջունելով ՄԹ ՊՆ միջազգային անվտանգության քաղաքականության տնօրենի այցը նախարարություն, կարևորել է Միացյալ Թագավորության՝ որպես ՆԱՏՕ-ի անդամ երկրի հետ համագործակցությունը՝  և՛ ՆԱՏՕ-ի հետ համագործակցության շրջանակում, և՛ որպես երկկողմ գործակցություն:
Վ. Տերտերյանը ներկայացրել է Հայաստանում փրկարարական ուժերի կայացման ու զարգացման ուղղությամբ իրականացված աշխատանքները և այս բնագավառում ՄԹ-ի հետ համագործակցության հնարավորությունները:

«Մեր երկիրը աղետների ռիսկի առումով խոցելի երկրներից է, և մենք կարևորում ենք մեր փրկարարական ուժերի պատրաստվածությունը», -ասել է փոխնախարարը` հավելելով, որ այս նպատակով Հայաստանը փորձում է ինտեգրվել տարբեր միջազգային պլատֆորմներում: Մասնավորապես՝ սեպտեմբերին նախարարության խումբը կմասնակցի ՄԱԿ-ի միջազգային որոնողափրկարարական խորհրդատվական խմբի (INSARAG) որակավորմանը։ Նա վստահություն է հայտնել, որ Հայաստանը և ՄԹ-ն կարող են արդյունավետ համագործակցել փրկարարական ծառայության ոլորտում, որտեղ Հայաստանը և՛ սովորելու, և՛ իր դրաման փորձը ներկայացնելու հնարավորություն կունենա:

Հյուրերի խնդրանքով` ՏԿԱԻՆ պատասխանատուները տեղեկություններ են ներկայացրել աղետների ռիսկերի կառավարման ոլորտում տարածաշրջանային համագործակցության, ՀՀ-ում աղետներին արագ արձագանքման պլանի կազմման և իրականացման վերաբերյալ:

Պայմանավորվածություն է ձեռք բերվել Հայաստանում Միացյալ Թագավորության դեսպանության ռազմական կցորդի հետ քննարկել համագործակցության ընդլայնման հնարավորությունները և ուղղությունները:
