ՀՀ սփյուռքի նախարարությունում հուլիսի 2-ին հյուրընկալվել են  աշխարհահռչակ կինոռեժիսոր Անրի Վերնոյի որդին՝ Պատրիկ Մալաքյանը և ֆրանսահայ գործարար Ռեմի Մեքենեջյանը: 

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ սփյուռքի նախարարության մամուլի և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի բաժնից, ներկայացնելով հյուրերին՝ ՀՀ սփյուռքի նախարար Հրանուշ Հակոբյանը խոսել է Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցի առթիվ Պատրիկ Մալաքյանի իրականացրած ծրագրերի մասին: Ի հիշատակ իր նախնիների՝  նա Մարսելից իրականացրել է մի հուզիչ ճամփորդություն. մոտոցիկլետով կտրելով եվրոպական մի շարք երկրներ՝ մտել է Թուրքիա, եղել հոր ծննդավայրում՝ Ռոդոսթոյում,  անցել է Արևմտյան Հայաստանով և այնտեղից մտել Հայաստան: Մյուս կա րևոր ծրագիրը՝ Ֆրանսիայում անմոռուկի պատկերով դրոշմանիշի ու դրոշմաթղթի տպագրությունն է՝ «Հիշում եմ և պահանջում» կարգախոսով, որի շնորհանդեսը կայացավ վերջերս՝ Մարսելում Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցի միջոցառումների շրջանակում:

Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ջերմ ընդունելության համար՝ Պատրիկ Մալաքյանը խոսել է  իր ազգային զգացողությունների մասին: Նա նշել է, որ ինքը խորապես կապված է իր հայկական արմատներին և ափսոսում է, որ չի տիրապետում  հայերենին, սակայն փորձում է սովորել: Ապա պատմել է  այն դժվարությունների մասին, որ ունեցել է դրոշմանիշի և դրոշմաթղթերի տպագրության ընթացքում, քանի որ չէր խրախուսվում «Հայոց ցեղասպանություն» եզրույթի օգտագործումը: Եվ, այնուամենայնիվ, նա կարողացել է հաղթահարել խոչընդոտներն ու իրականացնել իր ծրագիրը: Պատրիկը հատուկ շնո րհակալությամբ նշել է, որ մշտապես զգացել է ՀՀ սփյուռքի նախարար Հրանուշ Հակոբյանի աջակցությունը:

«Ես երջանիկ եմ, որ կարողացել եմ իմ տուրքը տալ նախնիներիս հիշատակին: Ես խոր հարգանք ունեմ այն մարդկանց նկատմամբ, ովքեր կարողացան պահել-պահպանել Հայաստանն ու հայությունը: Մեծ երջանկություն է, որ  հնարավորություն ունեցաք երկիր կառուցել, հայրենիք պահել»,- ասել է  Պատրիկ Մալաքյանը:

Նույն օրը նախարար Հրանուշ Հակոբյանը «Մովսես Խորենացի» մեդալ է հանձնել  Ստամբուլի Կենտրոնական վարժարանի տնօրեն Սիլվա Գույումջյանին, որտեղ ի թիվս բազմաթիվ հայ ականավոր մտավորականների, սովորել է նաև Աշոտ Մալաքյանը, նույն ինքը՝ աշխարհահռչակ կինոռեժիսոր Անրի Վերնոյը:
