ԵԱՀԿ երևանյան գրասենյակի կողմից կազմակերպված «Ժողովրդավարության ամառային դպրոց» ծրագրի շրջանակներում Հայաստանի տարբեր մարզերի ավագ դպրոցների երկու տասնյակ աշակերտներ ուսումնական սեմինարների, ճանաչողական այցեր և հանդիպումների միջոցով ծանոթացան ժողովրդավարության բազում հիմնահարցերի: Ինչպես Արմենպրեսին տեղեկացրեցին ԵԱՀԿ-ի երևանյան գրասենյակից, ծրագրի նպատակն է ժողովրդավարության հիմնական սկզբունքների եւ արժեքների մասին աշակերտների ունեցած գիտելիքների ընդլայնումը, մարդու իրավունքների եւ քաղաքացիական մասնակցության գիտակցման մակարդակի բարձրացումը:

«Ժողովրդավարությունը երկրի և տարածաշրջանի անվտանգության ու կայունության ապահովման հիմնաքարն է»,-վստահեցրեց ԵԱՀԿ երևանյան գրասենյակի ղեկավար, դեսպան Անդրեյ Սորոկինը: «Երիտասարդության ներուժը մի արժեքավոր աղբյուր է, որին պետք է հնարավորինս սատարել: Որքան ներդրում կատարենք այսօր, այնքան եկամուտ կապահովենք վաղը»,-իր խոսքում հավելեց Անդրեյ Սորոկինը:

Հուլիսի 4-ին ավարտվող մեկշաբաթյա ծրագիրը ներառում է Երևանում անցկացվելիք մի շարք ուսումնական սեմինարներ, հանդիպումներ մարդու իրավունքների եւ ժողովրդավարության տեղի, ինչպես նաև միջազգային մասնագետների հետ, այցեր դեպի այնպիսի պետական հաստատություններ, ինչպիսիք են ՀՀ Նախագահի նստավայրը, ՀՀ Ազգային Ժողովը, Կենտրոնական Ընտրական Հանձնաժողովը (ԿԸՀ), Մարդու Իրավունքների Պաշտպանի (ՄԻՊ) գրասենյակը, ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարությունը, ՀՀ ոստիկանությունը և հասարակական կազմակերպություններ:

Ծաղկահովիտ գյուղի ավագ դպրոցի աշակերտուհի Թամարա Սահակյանը կիսվեց իր տպավորություններով՝ նշելով.«Ամառային դպրոցն ընձեռեց հնարավորություն՝ գիտակցելու մեր իրավունքներն ու պարտականությունները, տեղեկանալու երկրի կառավարման կառույցների մասին և փոխանակելու կարծիքներ տարբեր հարցերի շուրջ: Այն թույլ տվեց դառնալ երկրին նվիրված քաղաքացի, ով կկարողանա ունենալ հասարակության զարգացման գործում իր ավանդը»:

Մասնակիցներն ընտրվեցին՝ըստ ժողովրդավարության թեմաներով հեղինակային շարադրությունների մրցույթի, որն անցկացվել էր ԵԱՀԿ երևանյան գրասենյակի կողմից դեռևս գարնանը: Ավելի քան հարյուր թեկնածուներից միայն քսանի հեղինակային շարադրությունները ճանաչվեցին լավագույնը, ովքեր նաև հաջողությամբ հաղթահարեցին հարցազրույցի փուլը:
