Սյունիքի մարզի Կապան քաղաքում արձանագրվել է ընդերային լեյշմանիոզի 3 դեպք: Ինչպես տեղեկացավ ՀՀ առողջապահության նախարարության կայքից, հիվանդները հոսպիտալացվել են «Նորք» ինֆեկցիոն հիվանդանոցում, ստացել համապատասխան բուժում և դուրս գրվել առողջացումով:

Նկատի ունենալով, որ լեյշմանիոզի ախտանշանները յուրահատուկ չեն, երեխաների մոտ անկանոն ջերմության դեպքում անհրաժեշտ է անհապաղ դիմել բժշկի, որպեսզի ժամանակին ախտորոշվի կամ հերքվի հիվանդությունը, և հիվանդը ստանա համապատասխան բուժում:

Լեյշմանիոզից խուսափելու համար անհրաժեշտ է պաշտպանվել մլակների խայթոցից` մանրավանդակ ցանցով ցանցապատելով բնակարանների դռներն ու պատուհանները, մարմնի բաց մասերը ծածկել հագուստով կամ մաշկը մշակել հատուկ վանող նյութերով, պարբերաբար և ժամանակին հեռացնել կենցաղային թափոնները՝ կանխելով աղբակույտերի առաջացումը: 

Լեյշմանիոզը վարակիչ հիվանդությունների խումբ է, որոնց հարուցիչները մակաբույծներ են: Լեյշմանիոզները դասակարգվում են 3 հիմնական տեսակի՝ ընդերային, մաշկալորձային և մաշկային: Վարակի աղբյուրը տարբեր կենդանիներն են, հիմնականում՝ հիվանդ շները: Լեյշմանիոզներն անմիջականորեն մարդուց մարդուն չեն կարող փոխանցվել, այլ` մլակների խայթոցի միջոցով: Հիվանդության նշաններն են` անկանոն տենդ, ավշային հանգույցների մեծացում, մոմագույն մաշկ: Ավելի հաճախ հիվանդանում են երեխաները: Վաղ ախտորոշման և համապատասխան բուժման դեպքում հիվանդության ելքը բարվոք է:

Լեյշմանիոզները տարածված են տաք կլիմայական պայմաններ ունեցող երկրներում, այդ թվում նաև՝ Հայաստանի հարևան երկրների սահմանակից տարածքներում: Նախկինում Հայաստանում արձանագրվել են լեյշմանիոզի ինչպես ընդերային, այնպես էլ մաշկային ձևերը: Ձեռնարկված կանխարգելիչ և հակահամաճարակային միջոցառումների շնորհիվ լեյշմանիոզի դեպքերը գրեթե վերացվել են: Ներկայումս հանրապետությունում արձանագրվում են միայն ընդերային լեյշմանիոզի հատուկենտ դեպքեր, հիմնականում՝ Սյունիքի, Տավուշի, Լոռու մարզերում և Երևանում:
