«Իրանը հավատարիմ է մնացել իր ստանձնած պարտավորություններին և ռազմական նպատակներով գործունեություն ծավալելու հարցում շեղումներ չի ունեցել»,-այդ մասին իրանական «ՖԱՐՍ» լրատվական գործակալության հաղորդմամբ՝ հայտարարել է Ատոմային էներգիայի միջազգային գործակալության գլխավոր քարտուղար Յուկիա Ամանոն:

Իրանական աղբյուրի հաղորդմամբ՝ Վիեննայում Իրանի և «5+1 խմբի» անդամ երկրների ԱԳ նախարարների միջև տեղի ունեցած հանդիպումից հետո ԱԷՄԳ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարը միջուկային խնդրի շուրջ խորհրդակցություններ անցկացնելու նպատակով մեկնել է Թեհրան:

ԻԻՀ նախագահ Հասան Ռոհանին Ամանոյի հետ հանդիպմանն ընդգծել է, որ ԱԷՄԳ-ի գործառույթն է անաչառ և հավասարակշիռ մոտեցում ցուցաբերել բոլոր անդամների նկատմամբ և նպաստել միջուկային էներգիան խաղաղ նպատակներով օգտագործելուն ուղղված գործողություններին և հետևել, որպեսզի միջուկային զենքի չտարածման մասին պայմանագիրն ի կատար ածվի:

Իրանի ազգային անվտանգության բարձրագույն խորհրդի քարտուղար Ալի Շամխանիի հետ ունեցած հանդիպման ժամանակ ԱԷՄԳ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարը հայտարարել է, որ կողմերի մոտ առկա անհանգստությունները երկուստեք ընկալելի են:

Ալի Շամխանին նշել է, որ միջուկային խնդիրը պետք է լուծվի արդար ճանապարհով և Իրանի՝ որպես Միջուկային զենքի չտարածման պայմանագրի անդամ երկրի իրավունքները պետք է հարգվեն:
