Բաքվի Եվրոպական խաղերը բարձրացրին մեր երկրի հեղինակությունը եվրոպական և միջազգային օլիմպիական ընտանիքներում:Արմենպրեսի հաղորդմամբ, այս մասին լրագրողների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ ասաց Հայաստանի ազգային օլիմպիական կոմիտեի նախագահ Հրաչյա Ռոստոմյանը:

«Երբ մենք որոշում էինք կայացնում մասնակցելու Եվրոպական խաղերին այդ պատասխանատվությունն իր վրա վերցրեց ՀԱՕԿ-ը: Մենք մեծ հեղինակություն ձեռք բերեցին և ունենք համախոհերի մեծ բանակ: Ոչ մեկի համար հաճելի էր  գնալ Բաքու, բաց այս խաղերը ապացուցեցին, որ պայամանավորվածությունը, որը մենք ունեինք միջազգային կառույցների հետ աշխատեց: Բաքվում մենք տեսանք բոլոր այն երաշխիքները, որոնք տրվել էին: Շնորհակալություն ԵԱՕԿ-ի և ՄՕԿ-ին: ՀԱՕԿ-ը կարող է իր վրա պատասխանատվություն վերցնել, մենք արդարացրեցինք մեզ վրա դրված հույսերը: Այս քայլը բարձրացրեց մե ր հեղինակությունը եվրոպական և միջազգային օլիմպիական ընտանիքներում»,-ասաց Ռոստոմյանը:

Վերջինիս խոսքով՝ օլիմպիական կոմիտեի մի շարք անդամներ մոտեցել են Հայաստանի պատվիրակությանը և իրենց շնորհակալությունը հայտնել մասնակցության համար: «Այս քայլը՝ մեր կայացրած որոծումն արդեն հաղթանակ էր: Եվրոպական խաղերում ամենամեծ հաղթողը մեր պատվիրակությունն էր: Եթե սպորտային միջոցառում լինի, ապա նորից կգնանք Բաքու»,-ասաց նա:

Ամփոփելով Եվրոպական խաղերը որպես մարզական միջոցառում՝ ՀԱՕԿ գլխավոր քարտուղարը փաստեց. «Կանխատեսումներում մենք ակնկալում էինք երեք մեդալ, սակայն  հաշվի առնելով, թե ինչ պայմաներ էին և մարզիկներն ինչ պատասխանատվություն էին զգում, ունենք միայն մեկը: Մարզական տեսանկյունից խաղերը Բաքվում երկորդ պլան էին մղվում: Մենք դեռ քննարկումներ կանենք ֆեդերացիաների հետ: Ինձ համար մեծ փորձ էր ղեկավարելու մեր պատվիրակությունը: Վստահ եմ, որ մեր 54 անդամներն աշխարհի որ անկյունում էլ որ լինեն, կկարողանան գտնել իրենց տեղը: Մեր նպատակը Բաքվում մեր դրոշը բարձրացնել էր : Ներքուստ ուզում էինք օրհներգը հնչեցնել, բայց չստացվեց»:

Եվրոպական խաղերին մասնակցած հայ մարզիկների պարգևատրումը կլինի, երբ ըմբիշները վերադառնան ուսումնամարզական հավաքականից:

Առաջին Եվրոպական խաղերն անցկացվում էին Բաքվում: Հայաստանն այդ խաղերին մասնակվում էր 25 մարզիկներով:Ընտրանու կազմում արծաթե մեդալ նվաճեց հունահռոմեական ոճի ըմբշամարտի հավաքականի անդամ ՄիհրանՀարությունյանը:
