Երեւանը հուլիսի 12-ին կրկին բացեց իր հյուրընկալ դռներն արդեն 12 տարեկան “Ոսկե ծիրան” կինոփառատոնի պատվավոր հյուրերի եւ մասնակիցների առջեւ: Նախ Սուրբ Աննա եկեղեցում տեղի ունեցավ արդեն ավանդական դարձած ծիրանօրհնեքի արարողությունը, իսկ քիչ անց Շառլ Ազնավուրի հրապարակում բացվեց Հենրիկ Մալյանի աստղը` նվիրված ռեժիսորի 90-ամյա հոբելյանին:

Դրան հաջորդեց ֆրանսահայ ռեժիսոր Ռոբեր Գեդիգյանի «Խենթ պատմություն» ֆիլմի ցուցադրությունը «Մոսկվա» կինոթատրոնում, որի համաշխարհային պրեմիերան տեղի էր ունեցել այս տարվա Կաննի կինոփառատոնում: Ֆիլմը սկսվում է 1921 թվականի մարտի 15-ին Բեռլինում Թալեաթ փաշայի սպանությամբ, այնուհետեւ պատմում է 1980-ականներին Մարսելում ապրող հայերի մասին: Ֆիլմի ավարտին հանդիսատեսները մոտ հինգ րոպե հոտնկայս ծափահարում էին ռեժիսորին: Ռոբեր Գեդիգյանը գլխավորում է «Ոսկե ծիրան»-ի խաղարկային ֆիլմերի միջազգային մրցույթի ժյուրին:

Երեկոյան Ալեքսանդր Սպենդիարյանի անվան օպերայի եւ բալետի ազգային ակադեմիական թատրոնի շենքում կայացած բացման արարողությունը վարում էին դերասաններ Սերժ Ավետիքյանն ու Ջերարդ Փափազյանը: Ողջույնի խոսքով հանդես եկան կինոփառատոնի հիմնադիր տնօրեն Հարություն Խաչատրյանը եւ փառատոնի գլխավոր հովանավոր ՎիվաՍել-ՄՏՍ-ի գլխավոր տնօրեն Ռալֆ Յիրիկյանը: 

 
12-րդ "Ոսկե ծիրան"-ի բացմանը
 


Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարան-ինստիտուտի տնօրեն Հայկ Դեմոյանը ներկաներին պատմեց Ցեղասպանությունը վերապրած հայ աղջկա` Արշալույս Մարդիկյանի մասին: Արշալույսը, փրկվելով կոտորածից եւ անցելով Ցեղասպանության բոլոր սարսափների միջով, տեղափոխվում է Թիֆլիս, ապա Պետրոգրադ, այնուհետ` Նորվեգիա եւ վերջապես հասնում է ԱՄՆ` Նյու Յորք: Այնտեղ նա ընդունում է Ավրորա Մարդիգանյան անունն ու սկսում գրի առնել իր կյանքի պատմությունը, որի հիման վրա 1918 թվականին Հոլիվուդում նկարահանվում է Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին պատմող առաջին գեղարվեստական կինոնկարը` «Հոգիների աճուրդ» համր ֆիլմը: 

Երեկոյի գլխավոր իրադարձությունը փառատոնի պատվավոր հյուրերի` հայտնի դերասանուհիներ Օռնելա Մուտիի ու Նաստասյա Կինսկիի պարգեւատրումն էր «Փարաջանովյան թալեր» հատուկ մրցանակով:
