ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի ամերիկացի համանախագահ Ջեյմս Ուորլիքը հայտարարել է, որ թեպետ լարված իրավիճակին եւ սպառազինության քանակի ավելացմանը, ԼՂ հակամարտությունը պետք է կարգավորվի խաղաղ բանակցությունների արդյունքում:

Ռուսական «Վեդոմոստի» պարբերականին տված հարցազրույցում Ուրոլիքը խոսել է Մինսկի խմբի կատարած աշխատանքի մասին` նշելով, որ թեպետ կողմերը կնքել են հրադադարի համաձայնագիր, այնուամենայնիվ, զինադադարը չի պահպանվում:

Համանախագահը մտահոգություն է հայտնել տարածաշրջանում լարվածության սրացման առնչությամբ: Նա օրինակ է բերել 2014թ. օգոստոսյան դեպքերը` հավելելով, որ զինադադարի խախտումը բազմաթիվ մարդկանց կյանք խլեց: Լրագրողի հարցին, թե ինչպես է Վաշինգտոնը գնահատում Ադրբեջանի սպառազինության փաստը, համանախագահը շեշտել է, որ կողմերն ունեն լիարժեք իրավունք, որպեսզի ապահովեն իրենց անվտանգությունը: «Այս կապակցությամբ, մենք հասկանում ենք, թե ինչու են նրանք ձգտում ռազմամթերք ձեռք բերել տարբեր մատակարարներից: Միեւնույն ժամանակ մեզ անհանգստացնում է սպառազին ության ուժեղացման հարցը ինչպես շփման գծում, այնպես էլ հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանին: Հարցը միայն զինամթերքի քանակի մեջ չէ, այլեւ դրա տեսակի փոփոխության մեջ: Օրինակ, եթե նախկինում սահմանին զինադադարի ռեժիմը խախտվում էր դիպուկահարների միջոցով, ապա այսօր օգտագործվում է ծանր տեխնիկա»,- ասել է համանախագահը:
