Բաքվի ծանր հանցագործությունների դատարանում այսօր իրավապաշտպաններ Լեյլա եւ Արիֆ Յունուս ամուսինների գործով նախապտարաստական նիստում ունեցած ելությում Լեյլա Յունուսը հայտարարել է, որ բանտում ցանկանում են ֆիզիկապես ոչնչացնել իրենց:

Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Թուրան» լրատվական գործակալությունը, նիստն անցկացվել է բարձր անվտանգության միջոցառումների իրադրությունում: Լրագրողներից եւ արտասահմանյան դիվանագիտական առաքելությունների աշխատակիցներից խլել են պայուսակները, բջջային հեռախոսներն ու վկայականները: Դահլիճի առաջին շարքերը զբաղեցրել են դատական պրիստավները եւ քրեակատարողական ծառայության աշխատակիցները, ինչի պատճառով շատերը չեն կարողացել ընկնել դահլիճ:

Լեյլա եւ Արիֆ Յունուսներին նստեցրել են ապակե վանդակում: Նրանք խիստ հիվանդոտ, նվաղ տեսք են ունեցել:

Յունուս ամուսինների փաստաբանները նիստում ունեցած ելույթում հայտարարել են, որ նրանց նկատմամբ ներկայացված ոչ մի մեղադրանք հիմնավորված չէ եւ շինծու է:

Լեյլա Յունուսը հայտարարել է, որ բանտախցում ամեն բան արվում է իրենց ֆիզիկապես ոչնչացնելու համար: «Մեզ ցանկանում են ֆիզիկապես ոչնչացնել», -ասել է նա:

Դատարանն արհամարհել է Յունուսի այդ հայտարարությունը, մերժել Յունուսներին իրենց մոտ նստեցնելու փաստաբանների միջնորդությունը եւ հաջորդ դատալսումը նշանակել հուլիսի 27-ին:

Լեյլա եւ Արիֆ Յունուս ամուսինները 2014 թվականի ամռանը ձերբակալվել են պետական դավաճանության եւ այլ մտացածին քրեական հանցագործությունների մեղադրանքներով: Նրանց փաստաբանները պնդում են, որ այդ մեղադրանքները ոչնչով հաստատված չեն:

Ամուսինների նկատմամբ նախնական հետաքննությունն ավարտվել էր հուլիսի 2-ին: «Պետական դավաճանության» հոդվածով երկուսի դեմ մեղադրանքներն առանձնացվել են որպես առանձին գործեր:

Լեյլա Յունուսը եւ նրա ամսուսին Արիֆ Յունուսը մեղադրվում են, իբր, Հայաստանի օգտին լրտեսություն կատարելու մեջ, սակայն, նրանց հետապնդելու իրական պատճառն Ադրբեջանում առկա 98 քաղաքական բանտարկյալների խնդրի ակտուալացումն է եւ միջազգային կազմակերպություններին արված` Բաքվում անցկացվելիք Եվրոպական խաղերը բոյկոտելու մասին կոչերը:

Միջազգային հանրությունը Յունուս ամուսիններին քաղաքական բանտարկյալներ, իսկ Amnesty International կազմակերպությունը` «խղճի բանտարկյալներ» են ճանաչել:
