Հայաստանի պաշտպանության նախարարության վարչական համալիրում կայացել է Պաշտպանության նախարար Սեյրան Օհանյանի հանդիպումը «Դեպի Հայք» հիմնադրամի նախաձեռնությամբ Հայաստան ժամանած սփյուռքահայ երիտասարդների հետ: Հանդիպման ընթացքում արծարծված թեմաներն առնչվում են ազգային բանակին ու զինված ուժերի ձեռքբերումներին:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ՊՆ լրատվական վարչությունից, միջոցառմանը բացման խոսքով հանդես է եկել ՊՆ տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչության պետ Վարդան Ավետիսյանը, ով շեշտելով աճող սերնդի հայրենասիրական դաստիարակության անհրաժեշտությունը` ընդգծել է, որ ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարությունը կարևորում է սփյուռքահայ երիտասարդների մասնակցությունը հայրենիքի բարգավաճման և հզորացման գործին: «Դեպի Հայք» հիմնադրամի հայաստանյան գրասենյակի գործադիր տնօրեն Սևան Կաբակյանն էլ, շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ընդունելության համար, նշել է, որ ծրագրի շրջանակում Հայաստան այցելող սփյուռքահայ երիտասարդներն ունեն մեկ ընդհանուր նպատակ, այն է՝ ծանոթանալ հայրենիքին և սատար լինել նրան:

Ողջունելով ԱՄՆ-ից, Գերմանիայից, Արգենտինայից, Բրազիլիայից, Կանադայից և մի շարք այլ երկրներից Հայաստան ժամանած երիտասարդներին և կարևորելով նմանաբնույթ միջոցառումների անցկացումը` պաշտպանության նախարար Սեյրան Օհանյանը շեշտել է, որ Հայաստան այցելող մեր հայրենակիցները միշտ էլ ցանկալի հյուր են ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարությունում, և ուրախալի է այն հանգամանքը, որ բազմաթիվ հայ երիտասարդներ, ապրելով տարբեր երկրներում, այնուամենայնիվ, իրենց գաղափարական ուղղվածությունը, դաստիարակությունը և հիմնական ճանապարհներն ուղղում են դեպի մայր հայրեն իք ու մշտապես ձգտում են իրենց ներդրումն ունենալ մեր պետության զարգացման գործում:

Սեյրան Օհանյանը ներկայացրել է նաև ԶՈՒ հիմնական ձեռքբերումներն ու մարտահրավերները, ինչպես նաև Հայաստանի և այլ երկրների միջև առկա ռազմական համագործակցության առանցքային ուղղությունները: Պաշտպանական գերատեսչության ղեկավարն ընդգծել է այն իրողությունը, որ հայկական բանակն օրեցօր կատարելագործվում է և պատրաստ է արժանի հակահարված տալ ցանկացած ոտնձգության:

Հանդիպման շրջանակում պաշտպանության նախարարը պատասխանել է նաև սփյուռքահայ երիտասարդների հարցերին, որոնք հիմնականում վերաբերել են ԼՂ հակամարտության կարգավորման գործընթացին, միջպետական ռազմական համագործակցությանն ու ՀՀ ԶՈՒ մարտական պատրաստականությանը: Հանդիպման ավարտին «Դեպի Հայք» հիմնադրամի անդամները, անկեղծ և անկաշկանդ ընդունելության համար շնորհակալություն հայտնելով պաշտպանության նախարարին, նրա հետ փոխանակվել են հուշանվերներով և հույս հայտնեցին, որ նմանօրինակ միջոցառումները շարունակական բնույթ կկրեն:
