Հայաստան-Հարավային Կորեա միջխորհրդարանական բարեկամական խմբի հայաստանյան պատվիրակության ղեկավար Սամվել Ֆարմանյանը հույս ունի, որ Հարավային Կորեայի խորհրդարանը մասնակցություն կունենա «Խորհրդարանականներն ընդդեմ ցեղասպանության» միջազգային պլատֆորմի ձևավորման և հետագա աշխատանքներում: ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովում Հայաստան-Կորեա միջխորհրդարանական բարեկամական խմբի կորեական պատվիրակության հետ հանդիպումից հետո մամուլի ասուլիսում Ֆարմանյանը շնորհակալություն հայտնեց հարավկորեացի պատգամավորներին Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակը հավերժացնող հուշահամալիր՝ Ծիծեռնակաբերդ այցելելու համար: «Ինչպես գիտեք Հայաստանի Ազգային ժողովը ցանկանում է ստեղծել «Խորհրդարանականներն ընդդեմ ցեղասպանության» միջազգային պլատֆորմ, որն իր ջանքերը պետք է ուղղի կոնսոլիդացնելու համաշխարհային  հանրության ջանքերը՝ ապագայում նման ողբերգությունների կրկնությունը բացառելու համար: Մենք լիահույս ենք, որ Հարավային Կորեայի խորհրդարանը ևս ակտիվ մասնակցություն կունենա այդ պլատֆորմի ձևավորման  և հետագա աշխատանքներին»,-«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ ընդգծեց Սամվել Ֆարմանյանը: 

Հանդիպման ընթացքում Ֆարմանյանը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել կորեական պատվիրակության ղեկավար Նո Յոնգ Մինին՝ Հարավային Կորեայում Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին իրազեկվածության մակարդակի բարձրացման և մարդկության դեմ գործած այդ հանցանքի դատապարտմանն ուղղված ջանքերի համար: «Յուրաքանչյուր տարի ապրիլի 24-ին Հարավային Կորեայի խորհրդարանում կազմակերպվում են ցուցահանդեսներ, միջոցառումներ՝ մեր դեսպանության ջանքերով, ինչպես նաև մեր կորեացի գործընկերների աջակցությամբ, ինչի համար մենք շնորհակալ ենք»,- ընդգծեց Ֆարմանյանը:

Նա շեշտեց, որ, չնայած աշխարհագրական հեռավորությանը, Նո Յոնգ Մինը  շատ լավ գիտի հայ ժողովրդի պատմությունը: Նա հեղինակն է մի շատ կարևոր աշխատության՝ «Ժամանակակից ողբերգություններ» խորագրով, որի առաջին գլուխը նվիրված է Հայոց ցեղասպանությանը:

Ֆարմանյանը կարևորեց  միջխորհրդարանական կապերի ընդլայնումը, որը կարող է ընդհանուր առմամբ նպաստել և դրական ազդակ հանդիսանալ, ինչպես երկու երկրների տնտեսական ոլորտում կապերի աշխուժացման, այնպես էլ քաղաքական երկխոսության ակտիվացման համար: «Բնականաբար, մենք շատ կարևորում ենք Կորեայի Հանրապետության այն մոտեցումները, որոնք առկա են մեր ժողովրդի համար առաջնային նշանակություն ունեցող խնդիրների շուրջ և գնահատում ենք նրանց չեզոք մոտեցումը հատկապես Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության կարգավորման վերաբերյալ: Մենք հույս ունենք, որ նման հանդիպումները կլինեն շարունակական՝ նպաստելով մեր երկրների միջև ակտիվ երկխոսությանը և համագործակցության ընդլայնմանը: Մենք կարծում ենք, որ Կորեայի Հանրապետության կողմից ռեզիդենտ դեսպանության հիմնումը Հայաստանում կարող է նոր էջ բացել մեր հարաբերություններում»,- եզրափակեց Ֆարմանյանը:
