Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն այսօր ընդունել է Ֆրանսիայի Հանրապետության Ազգային ժողովի Սոցիալիստական խմբակցության նախագահ Բրյունո լը Ռուի գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը:
Նախագահը ողջունել է հյուրերին, ովքեր Հայաստան են ժամանել խոշոր հասարակական-քաղաքական գործիչ և հայասեր Ժան Ժորեսի մահվան 100-րդ և նաև Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցների կապակցությամբ անցկացվող միջոցառումների շրջանակներում: Սերժ Սարգսյանը կարևորել է նման փոխայցելություններն ու շփումները, որոնք, նրա համոզմամբ, լավ հնարավորություն են անմիջականորեն տեղում ծանոթանալու երկրում տեղի ունեցող զարգացումներին, առկա խնդիրներին ու մարտահրավերներին, քննարկելու երկկողմ հետաքրքրություն ներկայացանող հարցեր և, իհարկե, նոր թափ հաղորդելու միջպետական հարաբերությունների զարգացմանը: Հանրապետության Նախագահը գոհունակությամբ է փաստել, որ հայ և ֆրանսիացի ժողովուրդների միջև բազմադարյա սերտ առնչությունները նոր որակ են ստացել երկու երկրների միջև դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների հաստատումից ի վեր՝ վերածվելով առանձնաշնորհյալ հարաբերությունների։ Սերժ Սարգսյանի խոսքով, դրա վկայությունն է հայ-ֆրանսիական կապերի վերընթաց զարգացումը բոլոր ոլորտներում՝ քաղաքական կանոնավոր երկխոսությունը, միջխորհրդարանական ակտիվ կապերը, Հայաստանի և Ֆրանսիայի 30-ից ավելի շրջանների ու քաղաքների միջև սերտ գործընկերային կապերը, տնտեսական, մշակութային, կրթական ու այլ բնագավառներում արդյունավետ համագործակցությունը, ձևավորված լայն իրավապայմանագրային դաշտը:
Զրուցակիցները համակարծիք են եղել, որ ս.թ. մայիսին Ֆրանսիայի Նախագահի պետական այցը Հայաստան նոր թափ է հաղորդել հայ-ֆրանսիական բարեկամական հարաբերություններին: Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը ողջունելի է համարել, որ Ֆրանսիայի Նախագահը հետևողականորեն ուշադրության կենտրոնում է պահում երկկողմ հարաբերությունների զարգացման ուղղությամբ իրականացվող աշխատանքներն ու Հայաստանի համար կենսական նշանակություն ունեցող հարցերը: Ընդամենը երկու օր առաջ Միացյալ Թագավորությունում ՆԱՏՕ-ի գագաթնաժողովի շրջանակներում Նախագահ Օլանդի հետ երկկողմ հանդիպման ժամանակ ևս, Սերժ Սարգսյանի հավաստմամբ, Ֆրանսուա Օլանդը հետաքրքրվել է բարձր մակարդակով ձեռք բերված պայմանավորվածությունների կատարման ընթացքով:
Բրյունո լը Ռուն ընդգծել է, որ իր գլխավորած պատվիրակության այցը մեծ հայասեր Ժան Ժորեսի մահվան 100-րդ տարելիցի ոգեկոչման միջոցառումների շրջանակներում լավ առիթ են Հայաստանի և հայ ժողովրդի հետ բարեկամությունը, որի ջատագովն էր Ժորեսը, ավելի խորացնելու: Որպես Ֆրանսիայի խորհրդարանական մեծամասնության ներկայացուցիչ՝ նա ևս երկկողմ միջպետական կապերի ամրապնդման գործում մեծապես կարևորել է միջխորհրդարանական համագործակցությունը:
Նախագահը բարձր գնահատելով Ֆրանսիայի խորհրդարանի կողմից 2001թ. Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը օրենքի ուժով ճանաչելու քայլը՝ նշել է, որ Հայաստանն ամենայն ուշադրությամբ է հետևում Հայոց ցեղասպանության հերքումը քրեականացնող օրինագծի ընդունման ուղղությամբ գործընթացներին, որը, նրա համոզմամբ, ոչ միայն հարգանքի տուրք կլինի Ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակին, այլև գործուն քայլ' ի նպաստ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության ու մարդկության դեմ նման զանգվածային հանցագործությունների կանխարգելման: Բրյունո լը Ռուն վստահեցրել է, որ իրենք ջանք չեն խնայելու այդ ուղղությամբ աշխատանքները հետևողականորեն շարունակելու և տրամաբանական ավարտին հասցնելու համար, քանի որ, ըստ նրա, այն ինչ անում է Ֆրանսիան՝ ուղղված է ամբողջ մարդկությանը:
Հանդիպման ժամանակ երկուստեք կարևորվել է նաև ֆրանսիացի օրենսդիրների այցելությունները Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետություն և «Ֆրանսիա-Լեռնային Ղարաբաղ» բարեկամության շրջանակի ստեղծումը:
