Քաղաքականության մեջ ոչ միայն երկրներն են շահերով առաջնորդվում, ոչ միայն այդ երկրների իշխանություններն են շահերով առաջնորդվում, այլև ընդդիմությունը: Եվ, բնականաբար, իրենց շահերն ունեն՝ ինչպես բոլոր իշխողներն ու իշխվողները, ինչպես բոլոր պետություններն ու մարդիկ: Արդյոք մեր ընդդիմության շահն ա՞յն էր, որ մեզանում այսօր ընդհանրապես ընդդիմություն գոյություն չունենա: Նույնիսկ թույլ ընդդիմություն: Չեմ կարծում: Նույնիսկ իշխանությունների շահը դա չէր պահանջում, որովհետև ուժեղ ընդդիմությունն իշխանությունների լավագույն խորհրդատուն ու գլխավոր շարժիչ ուժն է: Չնայած մերոնք տրամադրված չեն սա հասկանալ, բայց սա հայտնի ու բացարձակլ ճշմարտություն է: Իհարկե, ժողովրդավարության պայմաններում: Բայց քանի որ մենք իրական ժողովրդավարությունից բավական հեռու ենք, էդ բացարձակ ճշմարտություններն ի վիճակի չենք հասկանալ»,–գրում է թերթը։
