ՀՀ էկոնոմիկայի նախարար Կարեն Ճշմարիտյանը հուլիսի 29-ին ընդունել է Իրաքյան Քուրդիստանի տարածքային կառավարության պլանավորման նախարար Ալի Սինդին:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ էկոնամիկայի նախարարության տեղեկատվության եւ հասարակայնության հետ կապերի բաժնից, հանդիպմանը մասնակցել են նաև Հայաստանի Հան րապետությունում Իրաքի Հանրապետության արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Ղազի Տահիր Խալեդը, Իրաքի Հանրապետությունում Հայաստանի Հանրապետության արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Կարեն Գրիգորյանը, ՀՀ էկոնոմիկայի նախարարի տեղակալ Սերգեյ Ավետիսյանը, ինչպես նաև նախարարության այլ աշխատակիցներ և ԱԳՆ ներկայացուցիչ:

Նախարար Ճշմարիտյանը, ողջունելով հյուրերին` նշել է երկկողմ տնտեսական համագործակցության զարգացման անհրաժեշտությունը, հատկապես գործարար շրջանակների միջև կապերի հաստատումն ու զարգացումը: 

Իրաքյան Քուրդիստանի տարածքային կառավարության պլանավորման նախարար Ալի Սինդին, շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ջերմ ընդունելության համար, նույնպես կարևորել է երկու երկրների գործարար համայնքների ներկայացուցիչների միջև կապերի հաստատումն ու ամրապնդումը: Նախարար Ալի Սինդին ավելացրել է, որ այս այցը լայն հնարավորություն է ընձեռում ծանոթանալու երկուստեք հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնող ոլորտներում համագործակցության առկա հնարավորություններին:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում Կարեն Ճշմարիտյանը համառոտ ներկայացրել է ՀՀ տնտեսությունը, Հայաստանում տնտեսական գործունեություն ծավալելու առանձնահատկություններն ու առավելությունները, արտաքին առևտրի բարենպաստ պայմանները, այնուհետև խոսել է Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում գործող ազատ տնտեսական գոտիներում արտադրություն կազմակերպելու  հնարավորությունների մասին: Հաշվի առնելով Հայաստանի փորձը ջերմոցային տնտեսությունների, թեթև արդյունաբերության, դեղագործության, ջրերի և ծխախոտի արտադրության ոլորտներում` նախարարն առաջարկել է քննարկել համագո րծակցության հնարավորությունները նշված ոլորտներում:

ՀՀ էկոնոմիկայի նախարարն առաջարկել է նաև հայ-իրաքյան միջկառավարական հերթական համատեղ նիստի շրջանակներում կազմակերպել գործարար համաժողով:

Հանդիպման ավարտին Իրաքյան Քուրդիստանի տարածքային կառավարության պլանավորման նախարար Ալի Սինդին Հայաստանի Հանրապետության էկոնոմիկայի նախարար Կարեն Ճշմարիտյանին հրավիրել է Էրբիլ:
