Հարփըր Լիի «Ծաղրասարյակ սպանելը…» վեպը բնագրից հայերեն է թարգմանվել

Ամերիկացի գրող Հարփըր Լիի` դասական դարձած և Պուլիտցերյան մրցանակի արժանացած «Ծաղրասարյակ սպանելը…» վեպը ընթերցողների սեղանին է դրվել հայերեն թարգմանությամբ: Բնագրից թարգմանված ստեղծագործության շնորհանդեսն անցկացվեց «Լոֆթ» կենտրոնում հուլիսի 30-ին: Վեպը հրատարակել է «Զանգակ» հրատարակչությունը:

Հրատարակչության գործադիր տնօրեն Էմին Մկրտչյանը շնորհակալություն հայտնեց թարգմանությունն ու հրատարակությունն իրականացնող խմբին: «Մենք հպարտանում ենք այս հրատարկությամբ: Ամենախստապահանջ ընթերցողը գոհ պետք է լինի հրատարակությունից և բովանդակությունից: Դասական գործ է, ապացուցել է իր կենսականությունը, արդի է մինչև այսօր»,- փոխնշեց «Զանգակ»-ի գործադիր տնօրենը:

Գրքի թարգմանիչ Արամ Արսենյանը փաստում է` հաճույքով և հեշտությամբ է թարգմանել ստեղծագործությունը: «Այս գիրքը յուրահատուկ գործերից է: Երբ երեխայի հայացքով նայում ես աշխարհին, ինքդ էլ ես մանկանում: Ինձ դուր է գալիս գիրքը, որովհետև անկեղծ է: Այն աշխարհում մեծ համբավ է ձեռք բերել, իմ կարծիքով այն պատճառով, որ հեղինակին վստահում են, նա երեխայի բերանով է պատմում, անկեղծ է: Գիրքը գրված է ոչ շատ բարդ լեզվով: Ներկայացնում է կյանքն ինչպես այն կա»,- ընդգծեց նա: Թարգմանչի խոսքով` ստեղծագործությունը հայերեն թարգմանվել է 1960-ականներին` միջնորդավորված՝ ռուսերենի միջոցով:

Բանաստեղծ Վահե Արսենն ընդգծեց, որ բազմաթիվ հեղինակներ անդրադարձել են ռասիզմի խնդրին, բայց Հարփըր Լին ավելի հեռուն է գնացել: «Այստեղ ոչ միայն ռասիզմի, այլև հասարակ մարդու խնդիրն է. եթե ուշադիր ենք հետևում հերոսների ներքին զարգացմանը, տեսնում ենք, որ նրանցից յուրաքանչյուրն էլ ինչ-որ տեղ սայթաքում է, այսինքն` ոչ մեկն անմեղ չէ, ինչ-որ տեղ սպանում են ծաղրասայրակ»,- նկատեց նա:

«Ծաղրասարյակ սպանելը…» վեպի գործողությունները ծավալվում են ամերիկյան մի փոքր քաղաքում՝ համեստ մի ընտանիքի պատմության շուրջ: Իննամյա հերոսուհու աչքերով հետևելով վեպի իրադարձություններին` սկսում ես խորհրդածել այնպիսի լուրջ հարցերի շուրջ, ինչպիսիք են հանդուրժողականությունը, արդարադատությունը, բարությունը, խիղճն ու պարտքի զգացումը: Եվ, ի վերջո, տող առ տող, վեպի ասես պարտադրող ինքնաքննության ճանապարհով ընթերցողը համաձայնում է երեխայի այն վերլուծությանը, որին նա հանգում է երեք տարվա փորձառության, իսկ նա` ընթերցանությունից ստ ացած հոգեկան փորձի արդյունքում. «Մենք դեռ էլի ենք մեծանալու, բայց մեզ սովորելու քիչ բան է մնացել... թերևս միայն հանրահաշիվ»,- ասում է հերոսուհին:
