Քեմալական Հանրապետական ժողովրդական կուսակցությունից ընտրված հայ պատգամավոր Սելինա Դողանը Թուրքիայի Ազգային մեծ ժողովի նախագահությանը Ստամբուլի հայկական «Ժամանակ» պարբերականի վերաբերյալ հարցման առաջարկ է ներկայացրել՝ հասցեագրված վարչապետ Ահմեդ Դավութօղլուին: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին տեղեկացնում է «Ժամանակ» պարբերականը:

Սելինա Դողանը հիշեցրել է, որ պոլսահայ պարբերականը հրատարակվում է 1908 թվականից, և այն ականատեսն է ոչ միայն Թուրքիայի հանրապետական շրջանին, այլև Օսմանյան կայրսության վերջին շրջանին: «Ժամանակ»-ում, բացի պոլսահայ համայնքին առնչվող հարցերից, այս տարիների ընթացքում տեղ են գտել նաև հիշատակումներ Թուրքիայի ներքաղաքական կյանքի վերաբերյալ, ինչն այս պարբերականը կարևոր աղբյուր է դարձնում ուսումնասիրողների համար:

Մեջլիս ներկայացրած հարցման առաջարկում հայ պատգամավորը նշել է, որ պատմական անցյալ ունեցող պարբերականի թվայնացումը մեծ նշանակություն ունի, քանի որ այն մի կողմից կդյուրացնի ուսումնասիրողների գործը, իսկ մյուս կողմից կկանխի մաշվելու հետևանքով ի հայտ եկող կորուստները:
