Գեղարքունիքի մարզի Ներքին Գետաշեն համայնքի տարածքում գտնվող իններորդ դարի պատմաճարտարապետական  հրաշալիք համարվող Կոթավանքի վերականգնումից հետո այժմ այստեղ ընթանում են տարածքի բարեկարգման աշխատանքներ:

Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրեց Ներքին Գետաշենի գյուղապետ Կարո Գեւորգյանը, Կոթավանքի վերականգնումն իր վեհաշուք տեսքին ավարտվել է անցած տարվա վերջին, իսկ այժմ տեղական բյուջեից հատկացված 6,5 միլիոն դրամ ի հաշվին վերականգնման աշխատանքներ իրականացրած «Ալմասկա» ՍՊԸ շինարարները բարեկարգում են Կոթավանքի շրջակա տարածքը: Բարեկարգման աշխատանքները կավարտվեն  մոտակա օրերի ընթացքում, ինչին կհաջորդի ասֆալտապատումը, իսկ այնուհետև բացման եւ օծման արարողությունը: «Մինչեւ Կոթավանք 200 մետր ճանապարհ մնացել է անասֆալտապատ, ինչը դարձյալ կիրականացնենք տեղական միջոցների հաշվին եւ կնախապատրաստվենք Կոթավանքի բացման եւ օծման արարողությանը, մի պատմական միջոցառման, որին ոչ միայն մեր գյուղը, այլ Մարտունու տարածքի համայնքների հավատավորները, ար տերկրում բնակվող ներքինգետաշենցիները երկար են սպասել»,-նշեց Կարո Գեւորգյանը:

Կոթավանքը կառուցվել է իններորդ դարում Սյունյաց գահերեց իշխան Գրիգոր Սուփանի պատվերով: Այն կանգուն է մնացել մինչեւ 17-րդ դարի երկրորդ կեսը եւ կործանվել է պատմությանը հայտնի Գառնիի 1669 թվականի աշխարհավեր երկրաշարժից: Այս վեհաշուք հուշարձանի վերականգնումը ձեռնարկել է Ներքին Գետաշենի գյուղապետ Կարո Գեւորգյանը:
