Երգչուհի Սյուզի Մելիքյանի անունը վերջին շրջանում ավելի հաճախ շրջանառվում  է որպես դիմահարդար, քան որպես երգչուհի, սակայն նա պնդում է, որ չի մոռացել երգչուհու կարիերայի մասին։ «Երգարվեստն ինձ համար շատ կարևոր է։ Այժմ նոր երգ եմ պատրաստում, որը շուտով կթողարկեմ։ Հավանաբար, այն տեսահոլովակով կներկայացնեմ»,- BlogNews.am-ին ասաց Սյուզին։

Անդրադառնալով վերջին տարիներին իր գործունեության պասիվությանը՝ Սյուզին ասաց, որ այժմ Հայաստանում անհնար է լինել նախկինի պես ակտիվ։ «Այդ ամենի մեջ պետք է մեծ գումարներ ներդնես, մեծ աշխատանք անես։ Այն ժամանակ շոու բիզնեսում կյանքը եռում էր, ավելի շատ կյանք կար, կային համերգներ, հիմա  այդ շարժը շատ է քչացել»,- ասաց նա։

Շատ գործընկերների պես Սյուզին ևս երգում է կորպորատիվ միջոցառումների, հարսանիքների ժամանակ։ Ըստ նրա՝  երգիչների հիմնական շահույթն այժմ գոյանում է նմանատիպ միջոցառումներից։

Սյուզին դժվարացավ նշել՝ իր համար ավելի շահութաբեր է դիմահարդարի՞, թե՞ երգչուհու կարիերան՝ ասելով, որ դա կախված է կորպորատիվ միջոցառումներին մասնակցությունից։ Որպես դիմահարդար ստացած շահույթից երգչուհին գոհ է։ «Չեմ դժգոհում, մարդիկ շատ են գալիս, այս գործում ավելի շատ շարժ կա, սակայն եթե երգարվեստում ավելի շատ շարժ լիներ, դիմահարդարումն ավելի շահութաբեր չէր լինի»,- նշեց նա։
