Թուրքիան եւ ԱՄՆ-ը ցանկանում են ներխուժել Սիրիա եւ դրա համար առիթներ են փնտրում։ Այս մասին «Պատերազմ ԻՊ-ի դեմ. Ինչ են մատնանշում ԱՄՆ-ը եւ Թուրքիան» հոդվածում գրում է իտալական Panorama ամսագիրը։ Հոդվածում մասնավորապես ասվում է. «Եթե ԱՄՆ-ը ցանկանում է ամբողջովին մաքրել տարածքը ԻՊ-ից, ապա Թուրքիան ցանկանում է այնտեղ բուֆերային գոտի ստեղծել։

Թուրքիան կարող է փորձել ԻՊ-ի դեմ պայքարի պատրվակով անմիջական  մասնակցություն ունենալ Սիրայի դեմ պատերազմում։ Թուրքիան փորձում է թույլ չտալ, որպեսզի Սիրիայի Ազգային ինքնապաշտպանական ջոկատների քրդերը իրենց վերահսկողությունը հաստատեն Թուրքիայի սահմանակից տարածքների վրա եւ չհասնեն ԻՊ խալիֆայության ամրոցին՝ Ռաքային, որից հիմա ընդամենը 40 կմ է բաժանում։ Եթե նրանք հասնեն այնտեղ, ջիհադականների շարքերը կարող են սասանվել, իսկ սիրիական Քրդստանի տարածքը՝ ընդլայնվել (միգուցե նաեւ Իրաքի Քրդստանի պես ԱՄՆ-ից եւ դաշնակիցներից աջակցություն ստանա)։

Թուրքիայի խնդիրն այն է, որ եթե նա կարողանա բուֆերային գոտի հաստատել, ստիպված է լինելու այնտեղ զինվորականներ ուղարկել։ Իսկ օրերս Պուտինն իր մոտ էր կանչել Թուրքիայի դեսպանին եւ սպառնացել Սիրիայում Ստալինգրադ կազմակերպել, եթե Էրդողանը ոտք դնի այնտեղ (այս մասին տեղեկությունները ՌԴ նախագահի մամուլի խոսնակը հերքել էր - ծնթ. խմբ.)։

Միեւնույն ժամանակ ԱՄՆ-ը սկսել է Թուրքիայի Ինջիրլիք բազայից զինված անօդաչու սարքեր ուղարկել Սիրիայի հյուսիս։ Սպիտակ տունը թույլ է տվել կիրառել դրանք  «Ջաբհաթ ան Նուսրա» խմբավորման գրոհայինների դեմ, որոնք հարձակվել էին Սիրիայի նոր բանակի մարտիկների վրա, որոնց Հորդանանում մարզում էին ամերիկացիները։

Ինչպես գրում է Wall Street Journal-ը, վկայակոչելով ամերիկյան բանակում իր անանուն աղբյուրները, Սպիտակ տունը թույլ է տվել պաշտպանել չափավոր ընդդիմությանը նաեւ սիրիական բանակի հարձակումներից։

Այսպիսով՝ Սիրիայում ամեն մեկն իր շահն ունի, որոնք գրեթե երբեք չեն համընկնում դաշնակիցների շահերին։ Սահմանամերձ գոտին ԻՊ գրոհայիններից մաքրելու պատրվակով Թուրքիան ներխուժում է պատրաստում, որպեսզի կանգնեցի քրդերի առաջխաղացումը եւ նրանց ձեռքերով տապալի Ասադին։ ԱՄՆ-ն առաջին հերթին սիրիացի ապստամբներին պաշտպանելու համար մտածում է Սիրիական բանակի դեմ գրոհներ կազմակերպելու մասին։
