Արարատի մարզպետարանում տեղի ունեցած ընդունելության ժամանակ քննարկվեցին մարզում շախմատային մասնաճյուղերի վերաբերյալ հիմնախնդիրները, շենքային պայմաններն ու մասնագիտական գույքի հետ կապված հարցեր: Հանդիպմանը ներկա Արարատի տարածաշրջանի մասնաճյուղի մարզիչ Համլետ Հովհաննիսյանը, Արտաշատի տարածաշրջանի մարզիչ Միքայել Մարտիրոսյանը եւ Վեդիի տարածաշրջանի մարզիչ Երվանդ Գաբրիելյանն ըստ տարածաշրջանների ներկայացրեցին տիրող իրավիճակը:

Մարզպետ Ռուբիկ Աբրահամյանը, ով նաեւ Արարատի մարզի շախմատի ֆեդերացիայի նախագահն է, ոլորտի պատասխանատուներին հորդորեց ոչ մի խնդիր ուշադրությունից դուրս չթողնել: «Առաջացած յուրաքանչյուր հարցի ես պատրաստ եմ միջնորդելու՝ հնարավորինս արագ լուծում տալու նպատակով: Անհրաժեշտ է, որ նախկինի պես այս տարի եւս մարզի շախմատիստներն ու շախմատիստուհիները հուշամրցաշարերից եւ առաջնություններից վերադառնան պատվով եւ բարձր արդյունքներով»,-ասաց ՀՀ շախմատի ֆեդերացիայի Արարատի մարզի նախագահը: Նա նաեւ անդրադարձավ մարզկենտրոնում շախմատի մասնագիտա ցված դպրոց ստեղծելու մասին գաղափարին: Մարզի ղեկավարի հանձնարարականով մեկ շաբաթվա ընթացքում կուսումնասիրվի դպրոց ստեղծելու հնարավորությունները եւ կներկայացվի առաջարկություն:

Ըստ մարզիչների զեկույցների՝ մարզկենտրոն Արտաշատը՝ ի դեմս Հայկ Մարտիրոսյանի, վերջին տարիների ընթացքում տվել է Եվրոպայի եռակի չեմպիոն: Երկու տարի առաջ Արտաշատի ավագ դպրոցը դպրոցական առարկայական օլիմպիադայում շախմատ առարկայից հանրապետական փուլում դարձավ չեմպիոն: Նրանք նշեցին նաեւ, որ մարզի պատանի շախմատիստներ Յուրա Ղազարյանը, Աննա Սարգսյանը եւ Հրայր Հովհաննիսյանը հանրապետական եւ միջազգային օլիմպիադաներում հանդես են եկել զգալի նվաճումներով: Մարզն ունի 60-ից ավելի վարկանիշային շախմատիստ:

Հանդիպմանը ներկա էին նաեւ մարզպետարանի աշխատակազմի կրթության, մշակույթի եւ սպորտի վարչության պետ Հասմիկ Գասպարյանը, մշակույթի եւ սպորտի բաժնի պետ Մերի Կարապետյանը, բաժնի գլխավոր մասնագետ Սեյրան Նազարյանը, ոլորտի այլ պատասխանատուներ:

Արարատի մարզպետ Ռուբիկ Աբրահամյանը Արարատի մարզի շախմատի ֆեդերացիայի նախագահ է նշանակվել հուլիսի 24-ին, երբ ՀՀ շախմատի ֆեդերացիայի նախագահի տեղակալ, գրոսմայստեր Սմբատ Լպուտյանը մարզ այցելության ժամանակ մարզում շախմատի մասսայականությանը նպաստելու, միասին ակտիվ, հզոր ու նպատակային ֆեդերացիա կառուցելու նպատակով առաջարկեց մարզպետին ստանձնել այդ դերը:
