ՀՀբնապահպանության նախարար Արամայիս Գրիգորյանն ընդունել է ՀՀ-ում Համաշխարհային բանկի առաքելության տնօրեն Լորա Բեյլին և ծրագրերի ավագ պատասխանատու Ալեքսան Հովհաննիսյանին: Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ բնապահպանության նախարարության տեղեկատվության եւ հասարակայնության հետ կապերի բաժնից, կողմերը, բարձր գնահատելով երկարամյա արդյունավետ համագործակցությունը և Հայաստանում Համաշխարհային բանկի կողմից ֆինանսավորված բազում հաջողված ծրագրերը, հույս են հայտնել, որ առաջիկայում նոր հնարավորություններ կստեղծվեն բնապահպանության նախարարության հետ հետագա համագործակցության համար:

Նախարար Արամայիս Գրիգորյանը, մասնավորապես, նշել է. «Տարբեր միջազգային կառույցների հետ համագործակցության հարուստ և հաջողված փորձը մեզ թույլ է տալիս հույս հայտնելու, որ Համաշխարհային բանկի հետ համագործակցության շրջանակներում ևս բնապահպանության նախարարությանը կհաջողվի լուծել մեր երկրի համար կարևոր բնապահպանական հարցեր: Այսօր, ինչպես ողջ աշխարհում, այնպես էլ ՀՀ-ում բնապահպանական լուրջ խնդիր է գլոբալ տաքացումը և կլիմայի փոփոխության բացասական հետևանքները կանխելու կամ դրանց հակազդելու խնդիրը: Կլիմայի փոփոխության բացասական ազդեցությունն առաջին հերթին անդրադառնում է ջրային ռեսուրսների վրա: Ուստի մենք մեր առջև խնդիր ենք դրել ներդնելու Արարատյան հարթավայրի ջրային ռեսուրսների արդյունավետ կառավարման համակարգ, ինչպես նաև վերականգնելու հարթավայրի էկոլոգիական հավասարակշռությունը: Մեր մյուս առաջնահերթությունը Հայաստանի բնության հատուկ պահպանվող տարածքներում էկոտուրիզմի զարգացումն է: Հույս ունենք Համաշխարհային բանկի մասնագիտական և ֆինանսական ներուժի աջակցությամբ առաջիկայում մշակել արդյունավետ ծրագրեր` վերոնշյալ պլանները կյանքի կոչելու նպատակով»:

Համաշխարհային բանկի առաքելության տնօրեն Լորա Բեյլը, ևս կարևորելով բնական ռեսուրսների արդյունավետ կառավարման համակարգի ներդրման անհրաժեշտությունը, ինչպես նաև կլիմայական փոփոխությունների հետևանքով առաջացող մարտահրավերներին դիմակայելու ունակությունը, հույս է հայտնել, որ մասնագիտական քննարկումների և առկա փորձի փոխանակման արդյունքում արդյունավետ ծրագրերի մշակման հեռանկարներ կստեղծվեն:
