Երկար ու ձիգ 70 տարի է անցել, մինչ Գերմանիայի բնակչուհի Մարգոտ Բախմանը հանդիպել է իր մորը, ում հետ նրան բաժանել են նացիոնալ-սոցիալիստները։

Ինչպես փոխանցել է գերմանական Բադ Արոլզեն քաղաքում Հետախուզության միջազգային ծառայությունը՝ իտալուհի Ջաննան Երկրորդ համաշխարհային պատերազմի ժամանակ ուղարկվել է Գերմանիա աշխատելու, որտեղ ծանոթացել է գերմանացի զինվորականի հետ և 1944-ին նրանից դուստր ունեցել, գրում է ՏԱՍՍ գործակալությունը։

Անմիջապես երեխայի ծնվելուց հետո նացիոնալ-սոցիալիստները զրկել են նրան ծնողական իրավունքից։ Իտալուհին, արդյունքում, վերադարձել է հայրենիք և կարծել, որ իր աղջիկը պատերազմի վերջում մահացել է։ Մարգոտը, սակայն, մեծացել է մանկատանը, այնուհետ՝ իր հոր ընտանիքում, և տասնամյակներ անց սկսել որոնել մայրիկին, ում գտել է իտալական Նովելարա քաղաքում։

«Ես երբեք էլ չէի կասկածում, որ մի օր կկարողանամ գրկել նրան։ Այժմ ես երջանիկ եմ, որ նրա մոտ ամեն ինչ կարգին է և որ մենք կարող ենք վերջապես ծանոթանալ»,- ասել է Մարգոտը՝ խոստովանելով, որ նրան որոնելու համարձակություն է ունեցել միայն խիստ հոր մահից հետո։
